Superb!

This is one of the best pants I have ever owned. I bought them for cool weather hiking, but they're so comfortable and practical that I find myself putting them on for every-day use as well. The cargo pockets are functional! I have used them to quickly and comfortably stash my hat and gloves while out on the trail, and the pockets actually stay closed securely due to the snaps.

They are very lightweight, so a base layer may be desirable for use in cold weather. But so far, hiking in dry conditions with temps in the 30's, I have not felt the need for additional layers.

The only way these pants could be any better is if they were offered in different lengths. At 32", the inseam will not work for everybody. It's slightly long for me, but with any kind of shoe or boot it works fine.

I liked the first pair I bought so much that I went out and bought two more while they were on sale. I now own one pair in gray, and two pairs in green. I highly recommend these if the 32" inseam will work for you!

Great Pants!!

I mainly got these pants for rock climbing. Great choice. Very light weight and comfy. They fit closely and move well, zero restriction when stretching out my legs for far away holds.

Also great for lounging. I'd imagine some hiking. It's been too cold for much of that lately.

I made the mistake of wearing them around outside in the winter while the snow was falling. Bad idea. They breath a little too well for that. My legs got a little chilly. That's all my fault, though. It's clear that's not their purpose. On the upside of that, they're super quick drying, so all that snow was clear of the bottoms in no time.

Over all, an awesome buy. I may get another pair.

So far so good

Last year, my husband received a pair of EMS Millworker pants as a Christmas gift. He liked those so much that I looked for another pair for him. The Millworker pants seem to be discontinued so I bought these pants instead. They look great and seem to be well made. The only down side is that he takes a size 33' waist so these pants are not a perfect fit since I had to size up to a 34". He wears them with a belt and has no complaints.

Great pants

I needed some diversity in pants -- been wearing 100% nylon cargo convertible (zip off legs) pants for years -- nice pants, really, which is why I wore them so much, from sailing to office. But I became tired of the annoying zipper seam all the time and the nylon swish. Yet I don't want 100% cotton. So these cargo pants are perfect for days when I am not necessarily going to be deluged in rain or wave. Nice fit, pockets, and fabric blend.

A home-run..

Lightweight (and hopefully durable) cargo pants from EMS. Great fit, breathes well. Great for casual trips around my city and will definitely use these on hikes, traveling and camping. Really a superb lightweight cargo pant from EMS. These may not be great once the cold weather really sets in, though.

I really hope EMS produces these in other colors - I've already bought both.

Holes after two washes

The pants are comfortable and the fabric feels great. The material breathes better than I expected. After just two washes, however, the pants started forming holes.
