Eastern Mountain Sports Work Gloves Reviews:

Great glove for specific uses

Have the older model with no Velcro wrist. Loved them for ice climbing as long as the temps weren't super low. Can manipulate biners, grip axes and place screws easily. Also protect the hand from sharp metal objects or rock very well. They get wet, but so does any other glove. I really like the simplicity of the older model with no Velcro wrist - can keep them on when adding or removing a jacket, and don't start to wear the cuffs of delicate puffy jackets. Would recommend these either way, but would really like to see removal of the Velcro! Want to replace mine as they wore out in a couple seasons, but would expect that from other, more expensive gloves as well.

Great gloves

These are rugged gloves. They're not insulated, so they're good for use on the move and in lieu of thinner contact gloves when you're working with your hands or in rough terrain. Paired with an insulated mitt, two pairs of these gloves are my default winter glove system.

My only complaint is the change in style from last year. I don't like the Velcro adjustment flap that's on this years model. The one piece neoprene cuff on last year's model fits better with less bulk under a jacket cuff and is shorter, so doesn't interfere with my watch and Garmin.

Great gloves

I own a pair of EMS work gloves from 2008 and they are still going strong. I wanted to buy a pair of mechanics gloves for auto work.. but the reviews for the ones I was looking at were mediocre. I realized that I could repurpose my 2008 EMS work gloves for auto use, and then buy a new pair for hiking, etc. The new pair is just as awesome as my 2008 pair. It's a great pair of gloves.. would definitely recommend to someone looking for a warm, not too thick, snug fitting pair of gloves.

Best All Around Gloves EVER

Purchases these Gloves back in 2009. I have never found their equal. I feared that I had Lost them last winter and was ready to do anything to get a new pair as I live in Western Canada and don't have great access to your Store. Luckily I found them at our local Park after the Snow melted they are still in great shape after that and of course a few washes.

These gloves were a real hit!

These gloves are definitely not flimsy, but are flexible and punishment-worthy. The elasticized panel on the back of the glove allows for a great fit as well. Although a gift, the recipient was very pleased with the quality.
