Negative Reviews:

Laces are not 54". They are 49".

I ordered 54" laces online but when I measured them they were only 49". I took them to a local EMS store and got another pair....same thing. I ended up getting a 63" pair that was actually 57".

No matter what I do I can't keep these laces tied. Even in a double knot they work their way loose. I've never been dissatisfied with an EMS product before, and lo and behold, shoelaces.

LZ

Bought these shoe laces to replace the ones that came with my boots. Those were great; these not so much. These are good for the money, but if you are looking for great laces, these are not them. Mostly, what I do not care for is that these are very stretchy, thinner, and have a wax coating (unpleasant feel). They untie more than the flat, wide ones I had.

Okay-ish

I like these laces, but I need like three to four a year because they break on the metal rungs of my expensive hiking boots. You should always have a backup handy in the apt. and in your pack if you are on the trail. I would recommend to a friend and the price is reasonable, but I would suggest buying two pairs at a time for backups.
