Love these longer shorts!!

I absolutely love these shorts. They're the best because they're knee length and cover up the jiggles. I'm petite (110 lb., 5 ft.), so a size 4 is perfect; leaves room for a bit of shrinkage in the dryer. (Size 2 was too tight.) These shorts are kind of low rise--they fall around the hips, which is really comfy for me. I like things a bit looser so I can breathe.

I use these as my everyday shorts, and wear them everywhere, all summer long. They can be totally casual or dressed up a bit. You could also use them on warm spring and fall days, too, with a sweater. They're sturdy cotton, pretty soft material, and can handle some abuse.

Last year's model was cotton with some spandex, which I also like. Size 2 fits me well in that style. This year's model is 100% cotton. Both styles are awesome, but make sure you try them on to see how your size fits.

I love the styling: very classic, no frills, streamlined, easy fit. Love the little notch on the outside of the hem, the generous pockets front and back, and the slimming profile.

They don't bind or chafe, and there are no tight spots anywhere. I love them so much, I have two of each color! It's rare to find longer shorts like these, so I've stocked up. Don't stop making these, EMS...they're the best!

EMS Women's Adirondack Knickers by EMS

This is my 2nd pair-the first pair I ordered the size based on reviews, specific reviews, and they were too big. It was not worth paying to ship back, so worked on shrinking and was sad they were not better fitting, because I love the! This time I ordered a 2, I am 5'1" muscular build and 115 lbs on average. I am thin, but have muscular thighs, arms etc, so not a twig. I am trying to be specific to help others with size, because that is the question, not quality. The 2 fits well, maybe could be a bit shorter, since I am self conscious about my thighs, but good size overall. I am not sure if a size down would be perfect, would have to try, but I know a size 4 is TOO big. These are quality, comfortable, attractive shorts. They feel and look like they will last, and hold up to washing well. Functional clothing, with aesthetic appeal. Worth the money. Love EMS!

Canvas shorts

True to size. I wear these for work. Ordered two different sizes and discovered the larger ones just have a longer rise.. so I kept those. they came up to my waist instead of hitting me at the widest point of my stomach so they were more flattering. They hit me at mid knee, and are rather wide.. but very comfie.I am rather short (5'4") so if you are taller they would be more like bermudas.

LOVE these shorts! I bought 3 pairs!

I bought the first pair in the store without trying the on. Got them home and I was so happy how well they fit and how flattering the cut was for a 'Woman of a Certain Age'! They look so good on and I get lots of compliments! After the first wear, I decided I wanted them in other colors and ordered 2 more pairs on line! Please EMS, don't discontinue them!

Great Looking Shorts

These knickers are great. The colors are great and the fit is great. In previous years the fabric had a slight amount of stretch to it which made them even more fantastic. Wish you would bring that back although I have bought every color already!

My favorite shorts

I bought a pair a few years ago, and they quickly became my favorite. So I bought another. The fabric feels yummy against my skin. The cut is very flattering. They go with everything! What's better than that?

Not So Good

I had a credit and was buying something for my son's birthday, so I decided to buy some shorts for myself. I tried them on, very anxious to wear them because the other reviews were so positive, but was disappointed. They are too long for my liking and the inseam was very short. I will be sending these back. I really wanted them to work.
