Tech Essential Crew
I really love the EMS products. I am 5'1", muscular build, 115 lbs, and the small is a bit big, but not sloppy, I wanted a loose fit. I wear a short sleeve shirt under this to the gym-needed a functional shirt that looks decent(hate the sloppy gym look).I have not tested the wicking properties yet. My only complaint-the "Run factor." I bought 2 and have 4 short sleeve ones, and this came out of the package with a very small thread hanging at the seam that caught and ran within a half hour of first wear! At least it is on the sleeve, but frustrating! I am not hard on my clothes and take care of my workout "stuff." The material feels and looks nice, but should not catch that easily. If I paid full price would have been really angry, but do not feel like putting the effort into returns, even with free return shipping. I really like the shirt too and need it to last and look good...Would still buy, have to be so ridiculously careful! I store them inside out to be safe!Hope that helps! I deal with it because I love EMS!
I bought 1 at full price to replace an old favorite looser-fitting cotton blend Duofold that I was wearing out. Wore it on a century ride and it kept me comfortable all day--even in the rain. Immediately bought 3 more on sale (1 with zip neck).
The oriental blue is really a pretty purple and the bright yellow is great for cycling. I carry it on cool days to pull on over my cycling jersey. I use the darker colors for backpacking. This top is an ounce lighter than my old top. It fits true to size and is very comfortable.
Pretty sure the fabric will snag easily so I'm being careful not to let it contact velcro on cycling gloves or in the laundry and I'm careful when picking up one of my cats. I hope the fabric holds up to the demands of backpacking and camping--we'll see. I also don't put them in the dryer to avoid shrinking reported by other users. They air dry quickly.
Super product so far
I am using this under a heavier weight Techwick half zip turtleneck. I like the fit and the two layers together are really warm. I love the silky feel. The material is very light, so I do worry out how it will wear over the long term. I like it well enough that I bought 4 of them so far in some great colors.
I love this shirt!
I love wearing the shirt while I hike/ or play indoor volleyball.
It feels so light, like I'm wearing nothing.
I do prespire, but wetness just evaporates - I feel dry!
I bought 2 white shirts, 1 green, 1 orange, 1 teal color....Green and white are my favorite colors, except - I wish the white shirt is less see through.
I have several of these long and short sleeve, and I like the fit, they are comfortable all year round, and the colors are all nice. It is true to size. The only downside is the fabric is prone to pulls, so I have to be careful not to snag it.
Planning to take this long sleeve top on a 3 week trip to Europe. Super comfortable and lightweight. It will be a breeze to wash out in a sink, quick to dry and takes up almost no room in my suitcase. Thinking about getting one or two more.
Love this shirt
I wear this shirt to fitness and yoga classes as well as for general casual. I have short arms and normally wear petite sizes. So I have to turn up the sleeves on this shirt. Otherwise it fits great and feels warm and comfortable.
Runs larger than the zip base tops.
Purchased this item to layer for walks in our NE winters. I like having a bit more room in clothing but would order one size down next time. Washes and wears well.
comfortable shirt for hiking
I bought this for hiking. It's loose enough to wear long underwear underneath, but not too baggy. I like the mulberry color. Stays dry, comfortable, not scratchy. Great layer.
I wear these shirts under a top layer and on their own.
