axis infused shafts

I have always been very pleased with Easton shafts and have been building my own arrows for 10 years now. My only complaint is that I did not read the small print that warned about leaving them laying flat untill the insert epoxy cured. I stood them up in the corner and half of the inserts slipped down the shafts. They are impossible to remove without damage to the shaft. I ruined 6 of my brand new arrows. I did send Easton a e-mail suggesting that they make the warning larger and in bold or something for dopes like me.

Best shaft there is.

I have been shooting these out of my compound and my recurve. I use the 340's out of my 53# recurve with FF string and 300's out of my 63# compound. Small diameter means more penetration and less cross wind drift. Very strong and resistant to damage. I used to use the FMJ but found that the aluminum outer shaft would still bend. I should mention that I shoot 250 grain heads with the recurve and 125 grain with the compound. 29 1/2" shafts. The only way I've damaged one is by "Robin Hooding" it.

Great arrow for the $

These accurate and tough as nails. I have no complaints. Great overall arrow. I use mine for backyard target shooting, 3D shoots and hunting.
