Elk day pack

I bought this pack as a day pack for elk that could pack also. I just got back from my elk trip this year and am very happy with this pack. I archery hunt western WA in heavy timber so there is a lot of up and over logs and under heavy brush. This pack was comfortable the whole time over a variety of clothing including my rain gear. I wore it for over 36hrs and only had it off a couple hours at a time to sleep. With the wings closed it cinches tight and has a low profile. Did not have any issue with noise or shifting gear. I kept my bugle between the wings and was able to one handed draw and replace it. Unfortunately, I did not get a chance to haul meat with it this year, yet. I did put in 40lb and do a lap around my property when I first bought it and it felt great. With all my day gear including 3L of water the pack was 18lbs. The one downside is that it is not completely water proof (which i don't think it claims) got rained on pretty good one day and the outer pockets were damp inside. Although at 55 degrees and raining what isn't damp. Comes with dry bag to fit expansion, would do an over night if your a light packer. Hydration bladder not included. The waist pockets are roomy and the wing pockets have organizer pockets inside. No obvious wear after one solid elk trip I expect to enjoy this back for many years.

Great Pack

I took this pack on Colorado elk hunts. The first trip covered 4 days while the second was a bit shorter. This pack was adjustable in the back to fit the spine, The waist is adjustable and there were not "hot spots" along the waist or shoulders.
The material was quiet and had a great cammo pattern that matched my mountain terrain perfectly. The side/back wings had multiple internal storage areas with zippers to keep gear secured nicely. The side pockets on the waist were a bit small but fit a compass and range finder perfectly.
My only complaint was it didn't come with a hydration pack. It does have space for your own H2O bladder though.
I sat on and laid on mine in the trees. Almost seemed stain resistant since no dirt or mud came home with me.
Great Pack.
