Eberlestock Just One Hunting Pack -
Engineered to carry your gear in and carry wild-game meat out. Eberlestock's Just One Hunting Pack has a patented cam-expansion system that more than doubles the size of the pack. When you're hiking into your hunting area, built-in compression straps keep the pack compact and its contents secure, stabilized and quiet. After bagging a trophy, the straps can be loosened for carrying meat and attaching a skull or cape to the exterior for packing out. A suspension system moves with you while the vertically adjustable harness optimizes freedom of movement for shooting with the pack on. The Quickdraw Backscabbard™ provides hands-free transport over long distances while allowing you to easily retrieve your bow or rifle. The integrated scabbard folds into the pack when not in use. Ventilated mesh-front meat compartment allows meat to cool while you pack it out. Hydration-reservoir compatible. Imported.

Excellent Pack

Very well thought out and very well made pack. To really make it a "do everything" pack you'll need to get the spike duffel or super spike duffel and a back flap. Depending upon where you hunt you may also need the rain cover. Get the larger size.
The rifle scabbard, built in, carries a scoped rifle very well, much easier than slung over your shoulder.
What else? You can get a butt bucket to carry a compound bow and one for a trad bow. Excellent feature. My only question is this. If I load this thing up to it's capacity will I be able to actually pack it? No doubt it will carry well over 100#s!
Another nice feature is that it compresses into a 2200 cu in pack for day hikes or shorter trips. I also like how well it carries a spotting scope and tripod. Very slick.
As the name says, Just One, I don't know what else a backpacker or hunter could want in a pack.

More padding needed

I bought this pack for the elk hunt planned for 2014. In the meantime, I have been using it to pack gear into remote duck hunting locations. It allows me to carry my waders, 2 dozen decoys, dog stand, marsh seat, jerk rigs, motion decoy, calls, shells and gun. I don't know how much weight that ends up being but I know that I would like to see more padding on the belt and shoulder straps when I have it fully loaded.
