Eberlestock Scoped Gun Side Scabbard Reviews:

Positive Reviews:

Worked fine

I used this for my Weatherby with a 26" barrel and used the top cover Eberlestock sells for it and their packs. I attached it to my Mystery Ranch pack with the intended purpose of keeping the weather off my gun to a degree and to give the gun a lower profile on the pack as opposed to putting the gun in the pack butt down in a side pocket. The case is padded and water resistant so it protected my rifle well from all the sharp rocks, frost, and precipitation on the mountain. It is not heavy either. So, I am pretty well pleased with how it worked and plan on continuing to use it.

Negative Reviews:

Not for me

The scabbard has webbing on both sides but can only be attached to the Eberlestock X2 on the right side to fit correctly. The scabbard has three sides so the wide portion needs to be positioned outside or back. If you could move the attachment strap to the other side, it could be used by lefty's.

not as expected

thought with the MOLE webbing this might work with packs other than Eberlestock, but could not figure a way to carry rifle with any resemblance of balance to the pack. Nice idea but not a practical solution.

not what it looks like

Just got the scabbard-is not what the picture looks like. Was disappointed that it does not have the little compartment and shoulder straps with it. I guess maybe that is a small backpack or hydration bladder pack that Eberlestock offers. Anyway, seems to be of good quality so I'm gonna keep it and try it out.
