looking good

This was bought this for a boy when he just started on a bowling league. It looks great going down the lane. Getting predrilled may not have been the best idea though. The finger holes are a little off. It does the job though. Down the road if he gets more serious we will probably get another ball that is not predrilled..

Great ball for the money, ...

Great ball for the money, although it doesn't hook at all it is a great straight ball and I regularly bowl with it. My usual scores are between 155-190 per game.

Great ball

My 10 yr old got this ball for Christmas and loves it. It has really brought up his confidence in bowling. Now my 14 yr old wants one.

Cheap ball that cracked after few uses

Bought this ball for my 8 year old for Christmas 2006. Probably used it a dozen times tops and it literally cracked completely around the entire ball today! Could not believe my eyes when the ball came back in the ball return! Took excellent care of the ball, never dropped it on any hard surfaces (only the bowling alley!) When we initially received the ball it was chipped at one of the pre-drilled finger holes, but thought it wouldn't be a problem and not enough time to return it and get a replacement before Christmas! Should have returned it then, because no way they will replace it now! Think twice and invest in a better ball!

For Kids Only

Bought this ball at a local sporting good store because of the weight and price. After only four Sundays use and approximately 15 games, the ball now has a large crack around its circumference which resulted in the thumb hole being damaged. The material inside the ball is low-grade foam. Pay a little more and get an 'adult' size and weight ball. In agreement its more for the kids!

Ok for little kids

This was purchased for my nephew's 3 yr birthday (6 lbs). When he used it, it would go to either side of the alley though obviously the ball was traveling slowly- don't know if it would do that if an adult was bowling and could throw the ball harder.

Cracked

They will crack. I bought them for my 7 and 9 year old kids. Made it about 6 weeks before they cracked, one cracked nearly in half.

Spend more $$$ or you will end up spending more later!!

Poorly balanced ball

I bought this for my son who is new to bowling. The 6 pound zoom ball is terribly balanced and has a very unpredictable roll. My daughter's drilled 6 pound ball rolls much straighter.

Bad Ball

Very bad ball, i have had three of these balls and they have all cracked, the first two cracked, the third one had broke in half!! very bad! Stay away from these!!

The Ball was Drilled Upside Down

Couldn't control the ball. A store operator where I bowl, pointed out that the ball was drilled on the opposite side of where it should have been.

Neutral Reviews:

I`m not sure about this ball yet

I have a 14lb Zoom pre drilled ball.I didn`t like it much at first, but I`m getting used to it.

In reference to another reviewer,"Yes" it will hook, but not drastically. Also,it will not travel side to side when an adult uses it,goes where ever I throw it,even in the gutter. The jury is still out on the durabilty,no problems yet.

Good for kids just starting. Gave my son confidence, helped improve his scores.
