Ecco Sayan Lo Gtx Vibram Dip

Very good shoe. I bought these prior to a trip to Yosemite. They were/are very good. Very comfortable, fit well, supportive.

Sayan Lo GTX Review - I wore these shoes on a recent ten-day cycling holiday in The Netherlands and Belgium and found them to be extremely comfortable for all the walking around that the trip required. I highly recommend them, although they are rather ugly.

Ecco Sayan Lo Gtx - I had never owned a pair of Ecco and read several reviews that they ran large. I ordered my size anyway (11.5 US) and thought I'd give them a go. First out of the box impression was that they are incredibly heavy for a lo-top hiking shoe. And they look hideous as well. I had to struggle to get into the shoe, as they are too narrow for my wide feet and perhaps a 12 or 12.5 might have worked if they weren't so stiff and uncomfortable. Just not my cup of tea, although they do look sturdy and are very stiff, if that is what you are looking for - and your feet matches Eccos last.

The Ecco of contentment - Lightweight and comfortable for long, long hours, I can work on my feet without tiring. My wife even complimented me on how they look with my jeans. The support is good for my feet, which are pretty flat.

Durable, Classy, Rugged Hiker. I'd been waiting for Ecco to release a more modern hiker/trail shoe. Then I saw the Sayan and I had to have it. Let’s set one thing straight first, Ecco makes comfortable shoes. This shoe is comfortable. That is a given to me from my experience with this company. Durability on this shoe is also incredible, the yak leather is great. A lot of shoes in this category have rubber toe guards, not that those are necessarily bad but you can slam your toes into that hard rubber and it will hurt. The Sayan includes a toe guard in putting a second layer of yak leather over the toes, great move. Typically I wear an 11.5 in most shoes, in this shoe I went with a 44 because Eccos tend to run large and this shoe is no exception. The toe box feels close but comfortable, and the leather will probably stretch to give more room. The shoe will accommodate replaceable insoles as well. If you have any doubt just try the shoe out, I'm sure you will become smitten with them as I have. Thank you Zappos for your commitment to Customer Service!
