Ecco Sayan Mid Gtx Vibram Dip

Sweet hiking boot - I bought these as a hiking boot, but have been wearing them everyday because they are so comfortable and sporty.

Great Lightweight boot - Haven't had a chance to wear this boot in bad weather or for any hiking. Feels incredibly light and comfortable. I've always been a Vibram sole fan.

Hiking in style - I've waited a while to break these shoes in before offering an opinion, and after wearing them through 2 months of a Northern New Mexico winter, hiking up and down snowbound mesas, I can say with full confidence that they're great! Everything I'd heard about Ecco turns out to be true. They are super comfortable, beautiful, and just well designed, inside and out. My only criticism: Nubuck is obviously a great material - hence the comfort and price of this pair - but it scuffs so easily and indelibly that at first during serious hiking I found myself worrying more about my shoes than my safety. They look so good, it's almost a shame to put 'em through their paces. Mine are already covered with nicks and scratches, but who cares. They're a little high maintenance if you want to keep them looking their best. One important word of advice: be sure to waterproof these well before wearing them - ideally two coats.
