ECCO Sport Biom Grip Hydromax

My goal: walking. I want / need a supportive shoe which doesn't look like a running shoe -- hate that look. I prefer something subtle but which really provides comfort / traction / stability. Seems like a comfy walking shoe, however (for me) two things: 1) the inside of the right heel rubbed against my skin, just as I was trying them on in the house. I always have to duct tape my heels anyway, so am not interested in adding another area of my foot to be taped. 2) They seemed a little slippery walking around our hardwood floors. I am now spoiled beyond measure with GoLite's ultra-grip (whatever it's called), so that's what I'm after. But I've no doubt for others they would / will work really well!

Very, very happy with this shoe - I just hiked 7 miles in Colorado with these, and they were great. They have a relatively stiff sole so you don't feel rocks on the trail. The only negative - the arch could be a bit higher. But, they were comfortable right out of the box, nicer looking than most shoes in this category - got many complements on how cute they look. I love Ecco shoes, definitely worth the price.

Finally! The perfect casual shoe! Comfortable right out of the box. Perfect for travel, walks in the park or in the city, wear to school or casual work, etc. I replaced 3 pairs of worn out shoes with this one style that goes with everything. Very supportive unlike other pseudo-athletic shoes of this style. I'm very happy. True to size.

This is a solid, well-made, comfortable show (like most Eccos). If I had to walk all day, I would be willing to wear it in the city, though it is fairly hiking boot-ish.
