Positive Reviews:

I just adore El Naturalist footwear. My problem feet find relief with good arch support and thick rubber soles. The leather is thick and luxurious and even though they are a pricey brand, they don't wear out like other footwear and I haven't had to resole anything. I have these boots in red and people are always asking me about them. I have been less satisfied with El Naturalist dress shoes and high heeled boots than their casual wear. I was not able to wear the open back clog style because the rubber sole weighs so much that it is hard to keep the clogs on. I own several pair of boots, and several casual styles and am super satisfied. I have done my share of returns of ones that weren't quite right for me. Zappos makes this so easy. I always get a size 42 for my 10-11 foot (complete with bunion) and with the exception of several dress heels that I had to return, the 42 is always a good fit for me. I haven't tried any sandals since my feet are not so pretty. I would be sad if I couldn't get these anymore. I also am comfortable in Keen, Naot, canvas Dansko, Jambu and not much more.

These are just as nice as they look. They have a rugged look that surpasses Timberland in quality. The laces are very useful (not a decoration) and the soles have traction and cushion with the crepe soles. They look great over jeans, the legs are plenty wide, probably 16". I found them to have a wide enough width for me to go back go down a half from my usual size. I go up a half size in boots (usually) to allow a pinch of extra width. They look great with skirts too!

This boot is very well made. High quality leather and solid construction. The sole looks like it will last forever. Great styling - where with everything - urban to country. All of which makes me really depressed that I have to send these back. I'm tall with a size 12N foot. The 42 is just a bit short for me, the width was fine. Very disappointed they won't fit.

Looks great but could not get the zipper up over my calves. (Bought whole size up for correct fit.)
