2014 Elan Amphibio 88 Xti Ski Review

Hi, I'm Steve. I just got off the Elan Amphibio 88 (XTi). This is the widest ski in the Elan Amphibio series. It's definitely more of an out West version of the Amphibio. I give it a 4 out of 5 stars. It is a very burly ski, so, I'm not quite big enough for this ski. If you're the kind of guy that likes a really stable, kind of Mack truck ski, that takes big, wide turns, that are very smooth and graceful, this would be an awesome ski. Definitely could handle a little bit of loose snow and powder as well, with the 88 width. If you're a light guy or you like quick, short turns, I wouldn't recommend it for you. But like I say, if you're the kind of guy who wants a really stable ski, that makes big, long turns and a little wider width, this would be the ski.

2014 Elan Amphibio 88 Xt Review

Hi, I'm Kevin. I just got off the Elan Amphibio 88 XTi. I give this ski 4 out of 5 stars. Very, very enjoyable frontside, wider, all mountain ski. I say frontside because it does have a very deep side cut, so it rolled on edge very, very well, had a lot of edge grip, very stable. I was able to vary the turn shape very well with this ski, from, you know, shorter to medium to long radius turns. I think it definitely preferred more of those medium to long radius turns. It required a little more effort to get into the shorter turns, but all in all, if you're going to look to ski mostly frontside, but explore in some cruddy, little bit of powdery snow, the 88 XTi is definitely a great option for that advanced-intermediate all the way up to expert level skier.

2014 Elan Amphibio 88 Xti Ski Review

Hi, this is Trey. I just got off Elan's Amphibio 88. I'm going to give this ski 4.5 out of 5 stars. I really, really liked it, a great long to medium radius turning ski. There's no metal in it, but you would think there is, because it's just really, really smooth and very positive. The Amphibio technology really works. You can transition between the turns very easily, you don't trip over that inside ski. I think you could ski it anywhere on the mountain and have a good time on it, but really, really enjoy it on steeper, groomed, and kind of cruddy conditions. So, 4.5 out of 5 stars.

2014 Elan Amphibio 88 Xti Ski Review

Hi. I'm Mike. I just got done riding the Amphibio 88 XTI from Elan. I give this ski a 5 out of 5 stars. Everything I threw at it it handled with beauty and grace. Long turns, short turns, medium turns. Held an edge great. I would recommend this ski for an advanced up into an expert skier. Groomers, powder. It would be a great ski. Again, Amphibio WaveFlex XTI. Check it out.

2014 Elan Amphibio 88Xti Ski Review

Yo, this is Josh here. I just got off the Amphibio 88 XTI. I give this ski 5 out of 5 stars. This is a great ski for somebody who's skiing frontside, maybe gets into a little bit of powder out west. A great big all-mountain ski. I'd give this ski to a probably a moderate-to-advanced level skier. A lot of fun. Quick, very quick edge-to-edge. 5 out of 5 stars.

2014 Elan Amphibio 88 Xti Ski Review

Hi. I'm Steve and I just got off the Elan Amphibio WaveFlex 88 XTI. This is a great ski for all-mountain, for the advanced-intermediate user. Handled amazing on long turns at super high speeds. Little bit sketchy on the shorter turns at really high speed but got a great edge, again, on long turns. Great ski for advanced-expert user. I give it 4 out of 5 stars.

"Best One Quiver Ski Ever"

Best pair of skis that I've ever skied! The left- Right, Amphibio design is so good, it's scary. Turns have never been easier or more effortless. Ski these babies at Mach 10 speeds or rip through powder and crude. What more could you ask. They are even great for shorter turns on smaller hills or bump runs due to the Waveflex and easy "catch frre turning"
