2014 Elan Amphibio 78 Ti Ski Review

Hi, I'm Steve. I just got off the Amphibio 78 Ti. I give this ski 4.5 out of 5 stars. I love this ski, it was really stable. The Amphibio technology makes it really easy to transition into a turn, the Ti gives it sheets of metal, that makes it really stable. It handled fast speed, it was great at big, wide, arching turns. If you're an intermediate, advanced- intermediate, strong intermediate skier that really wants to get better fast and you ski mostly on hard pack and groomed runs, this would be a great ski for you. It could definitely bring your skill level up quickly, because it really helps you to learn to transition and carve those turns well, so I really like it a lot.

2014 Elan Amphibio 78 Ti Ski Review

Trey here with Elan's Amphibio 78 Ti. So, I give this ski 4.5 out of 5 stars. Excellent frontside carving ski, can make little turns, short, quick turns or big, long, cruising turns. I think that if you are a big, progressing intermediate, you're going to love this ski, and if you're a solid, advanced skier, mid size, you're going to be really able to make it do a lot of fun things. So, holds really well, because of the Amphibio technology, it transitions in between the turns very easily. It's got metal in it, so you can go as fast as you want to go and it's still going to hold that edge. So again, excellent ski, 4.5 out of 5.

2014 Elan Amphibio 78 Ti Ski Review

Hi, I'm Mike. I just got off the Elan Amphibio 78 Ti. I gave it a 4 out of 5 stars. I would say this ski is geared more towards the advanced- intermediate, leaning on maybe even to the low-expert category. I thought this ski handled great on the groomers, short and medium turns, this ski was phenomenal. I had a little bit of trouble with the longer radius turns, it tended to chatter just a little bit, but still, overall, for a bluebird groomer day, I thought the Amphibio 78 Ti was a great ski. Again, this is probably for your advanced-intermediate, even moving on up into the expert category.

2014 Elan Amphibio 78 Ti Ski Review

Hi, I'm Kevin. I just got off the Elan Amphibio 78 Ti. I give this ski 4 out of 5 stars. I thought it was a really great frontside carver. A lot of edge grip, a lot of rebound. Very easy-going. Not as forgiving necessarily as some of the skis in this category but if you're a little more aggressive frontside intermediate, this would be a great option for you because if you stay on top of it and you get forward it's definitely gonna perform very well for you. Really quick edge-to-edge. Very stable with the Amphibio technology. Definitely makes the turn initiation very forgiving.

2014 Elan Amphibio 78 Ti Sk Review

Yo, this is Josh. I just got off of the Elan Amphibio 78 Ti. I give this ski 5 out of 5 stars. Absolutely love this ski. This is a great frontside ski. Rips groomers all day long. I'd give this ski to a moderate-to-advanced level skier all the way to an expert level skier. I mean, this ski is a lot of fun. Really, really easy-to-use. 5 out of 5 stars.

2014 Elan Amphibio 78 Ti Ski Review

Hi, I'm Steve and I just got off the Elan Amphibio Waveflex 78 Ti. I give this ski 3.5 out of 5 stars. It's a solid, solid ski for short radius turns; longer turns, the edge doesn't hold as well on these groomers. Overall, for advanced-intermediate ski, pretty solid. Again, if you're doing more powder definitely switch to something a little bit wider, but overall, a great ski for short radius turns.
