Emotion Mojo Angler Kayak Reviews:

Strong Emotion

I recieved my Mojo Angler last April and I liked it from the start. I have used it mostly on rivers and creeks around the upper Chesapeake Bay, from flat water to moderate rapids on the Susquahanna. It was a very stable boat. I rolled it once on purpose and it took some effort I am 6' 3" and 200 pounds and the Mojo carried me and my gear easily. It paddled great was easy to manage on small creeks and weighed less than my dog. Notice the past tense? When Hurricane Sandy came through it knocked over a 120 foot oak in my yard and the only thing that tree hit was my kayak. A limb punched right through it, tearing a 2 foot by 2 foot hole between the bow and cockpit, pinning it to the ground. Not even duct tape could fix it. Broke my paddle in half too. Anyway,I Iiked my Mojo a lot and will be getting another one. I am now collecting Cabelas gift cards and hoping it will go on sale by spring.

Perfect for our needs.

Santa Clause dropped this off on the side of our house last Christmas (Dec, 2012). We got it up to our lake in early May and have had many occasions to take it out for fishing and cruising. This is a high quality, stable kayak. My wife loves cruising, while my boys and I primarily fish off of it. Perfect for trolling, casting and fly fishing. This is our first kayak - we are not expert, take it off a waterfall extreme kayakers - this is the perfect kayak for lake cruising and fishing in my book. My lab likes to ride on the back as well. Will be asking Santa for another one this Christmas!

Great fishing kayak.

I bought this kayak last year from Cabelas. I have used the kayak mostly on inland lakes but have taken it out on Lake Michigan for salmon. The stability of the kayak is very good. I have had 3-4 ft waves hit the kayak and have had no problems staying upright. The kayak has plenty of room for gear and multiple rods. I also installed a lowrance locator on the kayak. The transducer has no problems penetrating the hull of the kayak. This kayak is very good for fishing. You wont be the fastest kayak on the water but, you will be able to land those lunker fish without to much trouble.

Love it...

Everything about this kayak has been great so far. Paddles great, tracks awesome. Stable enough to even stand while fishing. I put a Humminbird fishfinder, a anchor trolley and some other fishing gear on the boat.
