very good for a cold day | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| One single bar has 390 cal and 20g of protein. This makes it to be a great choice for backpacking trips, long hiking, skiing, and running for distances more than 20 miles at cold days. THe problem with this bar that it completely melts in a temperature higher than 78F. It's not just coating melts so you should eat carefully to not get dirty; it would melt to chocolate fondue in a bag. For summer in California, Cliff is the only option so far. | |

Yum Yum and no soy or tree nuts!
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I am allergic to soy and tree nuts, so finding a protein bar I can eat without going into anaphylactic shock is tricky! I found the Peanut Butta Protein Bar and the only remotely related ingredient to my allergies is soy lecithin, which I can eat. And the taste is absolutely fabulous. Pure honey, chocolate and peanut butter goodness! | |

Best Protein Bar Yet | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| In my opinion, these are tastier than the other energy bars such as Clif, Powerbar, and Balance Bar. These are not dry. Lots of energy boost. After eating these, I will not go back to the other bars. All three flavors are great, but the chocolate/cherry is almost like dessert! | |

The best energy bar I've ever had!
| Rating: | ![]() |
| Wow!! I have tried them all, and this is by far the best energy bar I have ever had!! It tastes like a 3-musketeers, light & fluffy inside & very tasty dark chocolate coating; yet, with a natural boost, and clean tasting. I would recommend anyone to try it! | |

Grossly Sweet. I won't purchase again.

| You'll like this product if you want a sickeningly sweet candy bar. I expected the protein bar, with the "Honey Stinger" name, to at least taste like some honey was mixed with bland protein powder. Wrong assessment! Eating 1/2 a bar, I had to put the rest away. This was about as enjoyable as 3 tablespoons of raw sugar. REI, try getting what the military is using, the HooAH! bar. That is infinitely better! | |

Not great. Not bad. Tastes alright.

| Reminds of a 3 Musketeers Chocolate Bar, but made denser and with added dates and raisins. Not particularly keen about that taste, but then again, I'm not exactly perfectly happy with any energy bar. | |
