Endura Luminite Jacket -

You can never be too flashy while biking around town. No, we don't mean flashy like, say, going commando in a kilt—the Endura Men's Luminite Cycling Jacket lights up so motorists and other bikers can’t miss you. Endura bonded an LED fiber-optic strip into the Luminite's drop tail; the light strip gives you 50 hours of flash time before you need to change the battery. Plus, reflective hits all over the jacket light up to make you easy to see at night, before dawn, and under gray skies. Speaking of gray skies, this jacket's waterproof material works better than a trench coat to prevent you from getting soggy during your commute to work or your ride home from the trailhead.

Endura Luminite Jacket Reviews:

Positive Reviews:

I am a sweater and have been looking for a Jacket that will protect me from wind and rain, but since I live in Los Angeles it does really get that cold, so every jacket I have tried was too hot. I would get to work or home and be soaked and cold. But now with the Luminite i am satisfied. I am loving it, it keeps me warm and i don't seat too much and it keeps me dry and I am good.

Bought this jacket to keep me safe and dry this winter and I love it. Seals up nice and breathes well. The LED in the back is a nice bonus for when I am commuting.
My one gripe is that the zippers will sometimes catch and I have to fiddle with them to get them unstuck. This seems common with these little zippers and is the price we pay for lightweight gear.
When I wear this one out I will definitely buy another Endura jacket.

The first quality jacket I have purchased. This jacket kept me warm, dry, and visible on my first cold morning commute to work. If safety is important then I definitely recommend this jacket - I would be willing to bet you could see me from an airplane with this jacket on.

This is one great jacket. The pit zips are easy to operate while biking and ventilate nicely. The pockets are large and comfortable.
The light in the back is totally cool. I have tried many cycling rain jackets and almost gave up, this one has the ventilation that I need.

Im a truck driver and state ,federal laws make us wear safety vest or reflective gear every time we get off the truck. With my Endura Luminite,im more than cover. Thanks Alex.

Outstanding jacket. Great water resistance, highly visible and surprisingly breathable for a wet weather jacket. This jacket is tremendous value for the money.

Negative Reviews:

I was really hoping to get a jacket that would be light enough that I wouldn't boil in it while riding, waterproof enough to handle riding in the rain here in the SF Bay Area, and feel enough like a real jacket, rather than a plastic bag, that I'd be willing to wear it off the bike as well.
It falls short on the last point, although it does a lot better than most of the jackets I looked at. It has real hand pockets which are nice. The collar is a bit high when it's fully zipped up, but the cinch on the back of it is nice for keeping the wind out if it's really cold. Works fine with a hoodie or a scarf as well.
The reflective stuff is great. A driver complimented me as I rode by. The LED light seems pretty gimmicky, and it's very easy to forget about it and leave it on. Once the battery runs out, I'll probably drag my feet replacing it, but it's a nice thought, at least.

Even with an XXL, it doesn't fit. My chest and waist measurements fit within the sizing chart but I am not a slim build. Not being able to find gear that fits is a terrible catch-22 and no gear manufacturer will address it. Instead they seem to manufacture everything on the small side and it always seems to be for someone with a slim build.
