Tasty Recovery Drink | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I have tried Endurox, Clif Recovery, and Hammer Recoverite. Each of these recovery products seems to work fairly well at reducing muscle fatigue after a workout. For me, Endurox (at least the orange flavor) tastes by far the best, and has a good consistancy. If there is a negative it is that it is a little overly sweet and has a lot of simple sugars (not altogher a bad thing) and artificial coloring. I like the ingredients a little better in the Clif drink, and much more in the Recoverite, but I can't say I like the flavors or consistency of either as much. After a long workout, I typically reach for either the Endurox or Recoverite depending on how hard of a workout I completed. For a medium workout, I typically use the Recoverite because it has less calories and no artificial coloring. For bigger/longer workouts, I feel I "earn" the better taste of Endurox. Note, for light or short workouts/runs, water is really all you need. | |

It works! | |

| I was introduced to Endurox during my marathon training earlier this year and really feel like it helped me to recover quickly. I purchased the Orange flavor and found that it was pretty tasty when it was cold because it tasted kind of like orange juice. Now all of my friends drink this after our long runs. I couldn't imagine being a runner without it. The only thing I would recommend are more flavors. | |

| This recovery drink does make a difference in muscle soreness after workouts. I have used it for over ten years and I would not run without it. | |
