| I went out on a limb and decided to buy this hammock for a 4 day music festival. I was a little unsure whether it would work, seeing that I would have to attach it to the ski racks of two cars, but I was utterly surprised with how easy it was to latch on and how unbelievably comforatble it was. There is a little extra fabric if you are just laying in it alone, but it also works as a little blanket(or you can cover yourself and scare people that try and sit on it). It's ideal for two people trying to snuggle. This is definitely one of my best purchases ever! I went straight home after the festival and set it up in my backyard. I'm at work right now, but can't wait to go home and lay in it. | |

It’s easy to get carried away with excessive gear, day hammockers travel light. The essential day hammocking outfit consists of: sandals, tank top (or shirtless), fanny pack with water, snacks, and a Speedo (it’s the original banana hammock).The only rule is that you have to leave your backyard. Otherwise you’re just napping in a hammock, and that’s not the same thing. “The Singlenest is great for a light day hammocking excursion, but I’ve sensed moved on to the Doublenest. There are few things better in life than a tandem day hammocking experience. But it might not be for the beginner.” | |

| This is a great Hammock it is extremly practical for stuff like back packing or just camping. It is comfertable if you hang it and I like to sleep in it with just a 3/4 therma-rest and a sleeping bag there is nothing more comfertable. Plus if you like backpacking there is no way you can find a tent that ways less or packs smaller there is no such thing especially for the price. Then again you kinda need trees or something but where i go is the South East no trees is rarely a problem. | |

| The Eagles Nest DoubleNest Hammock was by far my most eagerly anticipated package of 2009. It is superbly comfortable, surprisingly sturdy (even with two people, one of which wanted to play the "let's see if we can flip it" game... not recommended), and packs very small. The only thing (which isn't even a complaint) is that the orange/gray is actually all gray with orange trim (reverse of the photo shown). But seriously, when you're peacefully slumbering in the woods in this wonderous hammock, who cares about color? Get one. You will love it. | |

| Got mine from UPS today, and I have already had the best nap of my life... walked right out of my aptartment and hung it up to the two trees in the back and was out in no time. Enough room for me by my self and i'm sure it will have plenty of room for my lady and i. I also picked up just a plain heavy duty tarp for camping, for 15 bucks you can't beat a 8x11 tarp. now this thing is ready for my weekend hiking trip | |

| This hammock is GREAT! I tried a couple other less expensive versions, but they had cords that got tangled and held half the weight. It's so nice to have the Slap Strap's and be able to pull the hammock out of it's on stuff sack, clip in and relax! You can't go wrong with it; On the trail, at the beach, in your back yard, or even from roof rack to roof rack while car camping. If you have some Slap Straps & this hammock, you have it made! | |

| This was my first hammock. I wanted something that would pack mall and fit into my day pack for hikes with my family. The ENO is large enough to get my wife and daughter in it with me. Not quite big enough to pull a all nighter but comfy for a short nap. So far we love this hammock. Only thing I would recommend is get the slap straps. Makes set up really easy. I also replaced the heavy steel beners with nice BD wire gates. | |

I use this for summer and spring backpacking in the Smoky Mountains. It's incredible comfortable, lightweight, and small (though "softball size" is an exaggeration). As with any hammock be sure to slip a sleeping pad or some clothes underneath your bag to keep your back from getting cold. Also, I couldn't give this 5 stars because it does not comfortably sleep 2. 2 can lounge, maybe. I use this as a solo hammock though. | |

| Received this last night and was quick to get it set up on the back porch. Very good quality and great colors. Even spent last night in it in a sleeping bag and awoke to smiles. Hope to do the same this evening, and on extended trips as it is very light weight and packable. Great first time experience with Altrec, though I do wish they carried the ENO straps too. | |

| I have set this up at crags, camping, in my living room, and even in a bus, it never fails to make me fall asleep in less than ten min. buy the double so you can share it with a cutie or just pull the extra fabric over yourself in the morning when you trying to sleep off all the booze you drank the night before dancing around the fire!!! | |
