Equinox 7 ft. x 8 ft. Polyethylene Ground Cloth -
Campmor Ground cloths are made from a sturdy, durable 6 mil clear polyethylene without grommets. Ground cloths protect your floor from rips, holes, and abrasions. They also add another layer of waterproofing to the floor and they keep the bottom of the floor relatively clean from mud, dirt and debris. Ground cloths should be trimmed or folded 2-4 inches shorter than the tent floor. If the ground cloth sticks out it can collect water between the ground cloth and the tent floor which could lead to water in the tent. Wt. 1 lbs. 11 oz.*
*Weights may vary slightly due to variances in the polyethylene.

I'd buy it again.

I've used it twice so far while car camping. Setup of the dome is standard and easy, the fly however isn't intuitive so you may want to take the directions with you. The zippers are really smooth which is nice, and the vestibule is great for gear. It might be a tad heavy for back packing, but if you divided it three ways it wouldn't be bad.

voice of experience- great choice!

I own and use 2 family-size timberline tents. At most comercial campsites there will be a gravel bed (even if it's lightly covered with grass) to set up your tent on. This is the best product to protect your tent with: absolutely waterproof, heavier-duty than a shower curtain. I've used the woven blue tarps...they shred quickly. This is what you need for car camping.

voice of experience-great product!

Blue tarps shred easily when use under a larger tent. This product is heavier than a shower curtain and incredibly strong! It is absolutely waterproof and will protect your tent floor better than anything else I've seen yet. I don't find it too slippery: a little use will rough it up enough to not be slippery at all.

Functional with any frills

I think a tarp would serve as a footprint better than this but this sheet was a good price and convenient to purchase with the tent through campmor

Negative Reviews:

too slippery!

This product is not good to use under a tent. It is way too slippery. I would have sent it back I am going to use it as a drop cloth for painting.
