Almost perfect

I bought this tarp initially as a multi purpose shelter to be used in my bug out bag and/or weekend excursions into the wilds. I never intended to use it on longer excursions of 4+ days where weight matters, but ended up doing so when my ultralight tarp was destroyed by a bumbling idiot on a quad.
This tarp did what I expected it to do, protected me from the elements on a 10 day trip on the AT. Two days of rain, and I stayed dry. Now it wasn't perfect... but thats not the fault of the tarp itself. I chose the 7x9. I should have chosen an 8x9 or larger. 7 foot just didn't cut it as the wind picked up and the rain started working its way in a little. I had to scruntch up a little to keep dry. But NO water got through the tarp itself. The tarp proved its durability on that same trip. I experienced 20mph winds during the storm. I had her pitched pretty taut and the gromets and sewn seams held up excellently.
I really like this tarp even though it could have been slightly longer and lighter.... but that was my choice. It is durable and waterproof, a keeper for sure.

High quality nylon tarp made in USA

We have bought several of these nylon tarps over the years. We use one with each of our tents (several sizes) as footprints. They are also handy for supple yet waterproof ground covering in grass for gear or people. High quality ripstop nylon with brass grommets. Made in the USA!

Great for lightweigt back packers.

I got it to lend to young scouts and grand kids before they get their own. The wilderness is my second home.

It's a tarp. It works like a tarp should. It's green. It was insanely affordable.
