An upgrade from OEM line tighteners.
It is very likely a direct replacement for your OEM plastic line tighteners. Probably will result in an upgrade as well, being thicker construction and usable with a range of line diameters. I needed to replace 1 tightener on a tent and another on a popup canopy and elected to swap 'em all out with this product.
Better than tying knots!
Most of the backpacking tents come with something like this, but an UL hunting tarp only had tie-out loops. I added a set of 5' cords and these line tighteners to make setup on uneven ground easier.
These work really well.
These work really well for tightening tent guy lines. You just have to learn how to fasten the guy lines to the tensioners so that the tensioners function properly.
