Esbit Alcohol Stove and Cookset with Heat Exchanger Reviews:

3 Days on the Long Trail/AT

Impressed with the fuel efficiency and speed to boil. Used fuel sparingly, and with the snuffer top I could shut it down, wait for it to cool and pour any remaining fuel back into the container. Boiled 2 cups cold water very quickly, I didn't time it but it seems twice as fast as my pop can alcohol stoves, probably due to the built in heat exchanger. It's a little bulky but not a problem and even though stuffed hard into the pack it's sturdy enough to take it. The stove unit rattles a bit in the pack, but putting a cloth in with it would stop that.

Great Little Stove

This is a great little stove. It boiled water quickly to make a cup of coffee - I did not time it but it was very quick..... it looked like it hardly used any fuel.

Great Little Stove

This stove is a great little unit. I did not time exactly how long it took, but I had a hot cup of coffee very quickly.

Stove and cookset is great.

Great light weight set for ultra lite backpacking. Fast boil time. The heat exchanger was a great addition.
