Eton M400 Grundig Radio Reviews:

Positive Reviews:

Eton M400, a nice piece of kit.

I wanted a digital display, compact, quality radio for general listening, and this one fits the bill perfectly.
It has a beautiful minimalistic appearance yet is functional and has a nice quality feel about it.
Operation is simple and logical and sound quality is very good considering how slim the unit is.
The receiver works well , picking up all my usual stations without any issues.

A couple of minor niggles...
There's no facility for storing stations, no RDS, and the lock switch only locks the power on/off button & the antenna is not very robust.

A little on the expensive side but much better quality than the cheaper stuff.

Eton M400

I purchased the radio for the FM/AM/Alarm capability. And that works very well. I've never owned a radio with Shortwave ability, so I didn't know what to expect, so I was very disappointed when all I got was static--everywhere. When I have more time I will try it outside. I have hearing problems, but that alarm will/does wake me up, whereas an alarm clock won't when I'm camping/boating. So for me it is a keeper!

great little portable radio

I use it to listen to games, talk shows and music at home and work. I can slide it in the belt case and move inside and out without missing anything when working around the house. I live in a city and the reception is much better than a Sony that I was using. Extremely pleased.

"Nice radio"

I bought this radio to take to ballgames, and for camping. It's just about perfect. Compact size easily fits in a shirt pocket. Nice sound quality, and quality earphones too. Digital clock readout nice. I wish it had an am./pm. marker though. A minor quibble on an otherwise fine product.

Small but Powerful

It's small, but powerful. It's just what I wanted to be able to listen to the radio while out gardening. All other battery radios did not get the reception that this one does.

Great little radio to have around

We have several of these that we put in our emergency kits for when the power goes out. They also get used when we go camping. A great little radio.

Great radio, great price

this is a great little radio. It reminds me of the old transister radio except the short wave feature which is great. I like the size and the case. Perfect.

Great for packing on the bike for long.

I bought this to pack when I go for long rides on the bike and it's size is great for that, also the shortwave feature is a bonus.

Backpacking radio

High quality for the price. Extremely lightweight and small. Good sensitivity and tuning. Lock mode for packing.Takes two AAA batteries, same as my headlamps and small flashlights.

Highly desireable

From the little time I played it, about an hour, it was good and what I was looking for, until some theives stole it the next day!
