Great bag for the price

Materials and workmanship look very good. filling is evenly distributed. With a lot of muscle you can get the compressed size down to a reasonable size about 14 x 8..thankffully it comes with a compression bag with pull straps to cinch it down.
Tested in 40 deg temp, clear skies, no wind - wearing sweatshirt, hat, socks and long underwear and using simple blue foam pad. Results were great - plenty warm. Bottom line I think this is a reasonably priced bag for the performance and packability you get.

good bag for the money

bought the women's version of this bag.
Needed the tall as it's is cut fairly narrow.
Anyway - it is surprisingly warm and light for the price. Doesn't compress down too small - but that's expected of a syntehtic bag.
Overall, I am very pleased. Have used it down to the mid thirties and been comfortable.

Negative Reviews:

Won't buy Eureka again

This is the 3rd Eureka sleeping bag I have bought. Eureka used to make great products. Eureka is now no better than Coleman, Field and Stream, and Slumberjack. They have become a "value" brand and are inflating the temperature ratings of their bags. When a 15 degree bag keeps you cold with long underwear and 2 sleeping bag liners in 45 degree weather, there is a problem. Bag ripped and zipper came detached after a few months of use. Will not be buying any Eureka products again.
