Good Sleeping Bag

Long time scout master with many camping trips over the years. Just used this bag for the first time two weeks ago on 3 day backpacking campout. Temp dropped to the 20's overnight. Slept comfortably and was warm. Wish it had a hood, but knit cap worked.

Roomier than expected

I was looking for a lightweight bag for hiking in the fall & spring in the Northeast but did not want a mummy bag. Got down into the mid forties the first night I used it and I was quite comfy.

Good bag, but...

Selected this bag to be able to mate it for my husband and I. Wrong choice. It is a very nice bag for one person of average height and weight. Seemed very comfortable and I expect I would have liked it as a single bag. It would be too short for my 6' tall husband. As far as mating the 2 I could not figure out how they would go together. The zipper runs about 2/3 of the way down the bag, leaving what would be 2 separate pockets for your feet (keeping my feet warm is 1/2 the reason for sharing bags, right?). As I began to put it away I realized I could not get the single bag zipper to reconnect and zip. I stopped trying for fear of ripping the fabric. So we rolled it up to put back in the stuff sack. I felt like I was wrestling alligators. It took 2 of us to put it back into the bag, which is actually a nice bag with straps to tighten it into a smaller package. So if you're looking for a nice bag, yes, I would use this one as long as the zipper worked properly and just get a larger stuff sack. As a car camper comfort is my biggest priority. I am, however, returning these 2 to get what I was looking for originally.

not for me

Felt too closed in.
Not for tosser and turners.
