Eureka Inntorest 2 Tent Reviews:

Great 2 person tent for the price!

I was tired of cramming into small 2 person tents with my backpacking buddy. After doing some research I settled on this tent. I will always use this tent with a friend so the weight split between was great. I like the 2 vestibule design. It helps with organization and interior tent space.

Cons: I camped on an island in the great salt lake Utah and the site was windy and exposed. I used all the clips and ties to keep the tent from blowing away. The flaps for the vestibule were so loud I didn't get any sleep. This is by far the loudest tent in wind I've ever experienced! On the plus side the tent seemed stable in 30+ mile an hour winds. I'm going to limit the use of this tent to forested areas or try setting up tarps to help block the wind. I also could have rolled up the vestibule flaps during the wind storm to let the winged go through the tent.

The stakes it comes with are really light but essentially garbage. One hit with a rubber mallet and they bend in half! I picked up some titanium stakes that are better and more durable.

Design: I like the way the tent looks and it blended in well with the environment when recently backpacking at 10,000 feet in northern Colorado. Im an enthusiast of leave no trace blending colors with your environment. I also like the way the tent looks when you are inside looking up. It's got cool geometric designs.

Materials: the materials seem quality and I think this tent will last a long time.

Price: best tent I found for the spaciousness, features and built quality.

Pole: light and easy to assemble. I love how the poles seem to put themselves together.

Set up ease: awesome. Strait forward and easy. Only takes a few minutes set up. No problems the first time.

Overall: Great spacious two person backpacking tent with awesome breath-ability and quality materials. I think the weight is good if split between two people. I would recommend to somebody who won't be above tree-line or in windy environments frequently.

Great Buy

Could be bigger for 2 people, but overall a great tent, especially for hiking. It's light-weight and easy to pack in a small size.
