Great bag

Very good bag for the price. I use it for camping mostly in North Carolina during late Fall / early Spring when evening temps can dip into the 20's. Could easily be used in the Winter, it's extremely warm. Heavy/bulky, yes, but you have to expect that for a warm synthetic at this price. Build quality is excellent. Successfully mated to another bag with no issues which also increases the warmth since you're basically turning two bags into one large one and benefit from the heat of your partner and vice versa. I would definitely recommend this to anyone but a backpacker who's looking for a lighter bag.

Boy is it warm!

This was a gift to my grandson. Now his father ( our son ) is jealous. I guess I will have to get another one for his birthday.

Ice Station Zebra

Excellent sleeping bag for cold weather sleeping. It does pack heavy, but me vehicle is always near my camp site - no problem. Very warm in frigid temperatures.

This thing is extremely bulky. Definitely not a backpacking bag and is very difficult to get into the stuff sack.

Negative Reviews:

poor quality zipper

I bought a left and right zip bag, intending to use the two together for me and my wife. I couldn't get them to zip together... zippers seemed very poor quality (they didn't even zip well by themselves). Also, on one of the two sleeping bags, the plastic pieces on the stuff-sack broke on the first use. If you want a very cheap sleeping bag, this is good for you... but I think need to go a little pricier/better quality next time. These are getting returned, pronto. My wife and I both have older bags that we've used for years (10+)... guess we'll just have to keep using those old (separate, no-mating) standbys for now.

Too big for backpacking

I can't say how this bag may perform because I couldn't even get it into my 65L backpack. The stuff size listed in the specs (10x15) is a typo. It's more like 13x20, and that is generous on my end. This should be fine for car camping, but don't plan on doing any BPing with this bag.
