The Silver City 30 Sleeping Bag from Eureka combines several of Eureka's technologies to give you a great nights sleep. With Rteq insulation, a blend of 4 unique polyester fibers, a peached polyester lining that gives you a warm-to-touch feel, a foot box designed to let your feet rest in their natural position, and a draft tube that runs the full length of the zipper, it gives you all the comforts you need.

  • Warm-to-touch, peached polyester lining. The slightly fuzzy texture provides added warmth and comfort in any condition.
  • Insulated with Rteq premium insulation. A proprietary blend of 4 unique polyester fiber, each chosen for its specific characteristics of denier, loft, weight, and thermal
  • The lining is warm-to-touch, peached polyester. It combines the performance value of a synthetic fabric with the soft feel of cotton

Eureka Silver City Sleeping Bag Reviews:

Lightweight at a reasonable price

This is a solid sleeping bag. It's pretty compact for a synthetic bag, especially if you take it out of its "stuff sack" and simply cram it into the bottom of your pack instead of rolling it up.

The bag mates with my men's silver city bag to make a cozy couples bag.

The temperature rating is a bit optimistic; wear heavier clothing if you're expecting temperatures below 45 or so.

The silver city bags are pretty light for synthetic, and the price is reasonable. Much lighter and you would find yourself paying $300.

My only other minor complaint is the zippers like to catch on the fabric. Just run a finger alongside the zipper to avoid it catching.

decent bag for the price

this bag is light weight and packs small. i just went on an overnight backpacking trip. we had a big cold front push through. i was worried about freezing but the bag did well i was able to get a good nights rest in about 27º.
i find the width a little too snug my arms/shoulders smash against the sides stretching the seams. im 5'9 but have a broad athletic upper torso. the hood isnt the most comfy either i just leave my head out and wear a beanie.

Nice bag

(review based on 2 uses so far). I returned a heavier 20º bag for this model because of the light weight since I probably wont be going on cold weather trips. I am a typically colder person and used this bag on a night in the high 50ºs and kept it mostly unzipped. The zipper was difficult to pull at times. The bag fit me perfectly at 5'8", 140lbs.... but it that is probably at the height limit. I'm satisfied with it so far.

Good sleeping bag

I have used this bag twice now and it is awesome. It is small and light weight and both times I used it the temp got down to 30 F and I stayed warm. The inside of the bag is way better than just a nylon lining. I didn't sweat like I do in just normal nylon lined bags. I definitely recommend this bag.

Worth it

While most offerings are down filled, this synthetic bag works well in the warmth-to weight-to price ratio. At 6'1, the LONG version is perfect. Compresses to a volleyball size for easy packing. A solid 3 season bag that I have used about 40 times. Washes without problems as well.

Great Bag

Used this bag in 20 degree nights, awsome bag, just sleep with the least amount of clothing you can, or you'll sweat, then get really cold. You won't be disapointed.

like it!

I'm on the larger size and it will be snug but that is ok as I turn a lot in the night and the bag rolls with me.
