Positive Reviews:

Fine for boxing, not good for kicking

Rating:****
This bag stand is fine for boxing, and the stand can be secured or butted up against something to prevent it from sliding, making it an affordable, portable solution for someone doing boxing for fitness or drilling certain strikes.
The clearance, however, is not adequate for kicking sports, such as Muay Thai, where you might break your toes on the rear supports, and the top support bar is not adjustable, preventing you from hanging the bag farther out.

Ease of assembly

Rating:****
I assembled this unit with ease. By adding some free weights to the posts on the legs I was able to control any sliding issue as mentioned in other reviews. Nice unit and we are very happy with it thus far.

Good for Punching

Rating:****
This was very easy to set up. holds a 100lb bag great. Not very good for kicking tho, support beems are to close, i almost broke my foot on it.

very good!

I box and mma fight. the only down fall with this stand is tatt THERE IS NO WAY to put up a heavy bag AND double cable bag together.

ehh

Rating:**
Dicks sells a different one now ......easy to assemble ....(took about 20 min for the main frame ....speedbag platform took about 10 min more) .....The new one they sell is Fitnesslife or something like that....Not only does it have a heavy bag hook and speedbag it has a hook on the floor for attaching a slip bag as well .....three types of bags can be used..... for $129 ...that isnt bad ...spedbag platform does need renforcement ...another 3/4 inch board on top should stablize it more. easy 1 day project if you feel inclined.

Most expensive waste of space

Rating:**
The biggest downside to this set is the set up. This boxing stand would be easy to setup...if it were constructed properly. Upon setting this up, I discovered tubes that were supposed to fit over another tube couldn't because one was dented, holes wouldn't align correctly, and a mess of annoying problems. Fixing this item is the proverbial "female dog" and I hope to never do it again.
Perhaps I just got a defective set, but unless I absolutely hated the person, I wouldn't recommend this item.

Poor set up manual

Rating:*
I bought the product mainly for fitness - boxing. While the product appear sturdy, the manufacturers did a poor job with respect to instructions on how to set it up. There were missing steps in the assembly and today is 4th of July, everywhere is closed. There is need for a detail description on the set up of the swivel. I have 2 bars which do not seem to fit anywhere and not even mentioned in the set up steps.

Get ready to be frustrated with assembly

Rating:***
My stand came without any instructions in the box. However, all the pieces were numbered consecutively. Because today is Sunday, I could not contact Everlast and could not find assembly instructions on their website. I decided to attempt assembly without instructions by just looking at the picture. The holes in the frame did not line up with the metal bracket where the speed bag hangs. I had to drill new holes in the frame. Also, the circular disk is only made of particle board, not plywood. Metric wrenches are required for assembly. I would recommend replacing two Phillip's head screws used to hold the metal swivel bracket for the speed bag with hex bolts for easier tightening.

ok for the price

Rating:***
The punching bag part is great although you'll need to buy some weights or push it against a wall if you have any punching power. Don't really care for the speed bag setup because it has too much wiggle room in it no matter how much you tighten the handle down. If you can save your pennies and get the one that's a lil more expensive.
