I have only utilized these gloves for approximately two weeks, therefore this review and rating only reflects my initial impression of the product and does not take durability into account. Over the 15+ years that I have trained in martial arts, I have never regularly worn head gear as a standard piece of equipment. That said, I do feel that this particular piece is hands-down the best I have had to use when necessary and the design, ease of donning, and performance are outstanding. It does not distract my focus while sparring and feels VERY secure on the rare occasions when taking a solid, hard shot. I would certainly recommend this head piece.

This headgear is not fancy, but it gets the job done. The punches that landed on my head felt more like a push because the headgear was able to spread out the pressure. It is really good for its value. The only thing that could be better would be more protection on the chin.

I really wanted a different color but he was happy so that's reallt all that matters, I got 2 of these for one of my sons and whatever opponent is available at the time so I wouldn't have to worry when he was boxing.
