Ex Officio Boracade Jacket Review:

better than brocade

Having misread the description (brocade vs. borocade) I was initially disappointed until I put it on. This will be a perfect outer layer/insulating layer for Europe depending on the fickle weather. I will add a rain jacket for France and England, and a wool sweater for the Alps/Bavaria. The fit is very flattering and will dress up nicely for either opera or theater, while serving well for the museum tours which tend to be chilly. It's a bit tight in the bust for me, but that's typically my problem. It will pack down well, or be something I can wear the whole time traveling. Not bulky at all. It's a lighter soft shell, and nicely fills a gap in my "trousseau"
