Positive Reviews:

I have been guiding canoe wilderness trips in the BWCA since 1990 and NEVER found more comfortable or suitable underwear. We were hit by thunderstorms our second day of a six day trip and had rain at least half of the trip.
I bought 4 pair "just in case" but two pair have never been worn. I alternated between the two pair washing one in the river when I bathed and hanging them to dry before hitting the sack every night. Even with the rain, the "spare pair" were always ready to go by morning.
I am thinking of switching to these for every day wear. If you have ever had to deal with "heat rash" or those other nasties, you will appreciate how well these babies breath. I give 'em a 5 star rating!

My previous favorite briefs, Patagonia, changed their style a year ago, and they don't fit me as well as the older ones, so on the recommendation of another reviewer, I decided to try the ExOfficio Give-N-Go Sport Briefs, and I'm absolutely delighted with the fit.
For me, most of the others tend to ride up, but not these, and as Alexander S noted, they're really easy to sink-wash and wear the next day (or use two pairs and alternate). The manufacturer recommends after washing, roll them in a towel and stomp on them. Works great!
Stats: I'm 5'8", 145#, with a 32 waist and inseam.
I'll buy more before ExOfficio changes their style too!

I bought these for a 2 week backpacking trip in Europe last summer and knew I only wanted to bring 2-3 pairs of underwear that I'd be able to wash in a sink of a hostel/hotel and be dry the next day. These worked out so great for me that I ended up buying another 2 pairs when I got home. These are extremely comforable and wick moisture extremely well. I've had them for about a year and wear them day in and day out and they have held up very well. I'm very impressed with these and would definately recommend them for anyone.

I couldn't decide whether I wanted to try these briefs or the "sport" version, so I bought both. And both are excellent products. The main difference (other than the sport brief being cut more like a low-rise brief) is that the sport brief does not have a fly. While this could be inconvenient at certain times, I prefer the feel of the sport brief because it seems to provide more support and there is less fabric to wad or buch up as you move. I think I could comfortably wear either style in all sorts of conditions. And they really do dry very quickly.

Nicest pair of underwear I've ever owned. Comfy and good for actively movin' around and stuff like that. No access hole/fly, but you get used to pulling up a leg hole to pee through. Or, just yank the band down--but the elastic is really solid and this leg hole method is easier.
Seems expensive for underwear, but there's a reason for it. They are bombproof, easy to care for and clean, perform well, and make your junk look huge.
Thanks Backcountry for the gift certificate that inspired me to buy these bad boys!

Why didn't I give this product 5 gold stars? Well, frankly, because it is underwear. If you just toss around 5 big ones for a sweaty pair of athletic undergarments you'd likely give the same rating for door stops or dental floss. When I'm working out, I don't want to be thinking about the comfort level of manhood supporter. This product fits the bill just fine. Don't hesitate to buy them. Go larger. I'm only a 31 waist and the medium fits great.

i reviewed the boxer briefs already (awesome) but i got a pair of these for wearing with board shorts (never been a fan of dangling my junk all over). These are perfect for unlined board shorts, lower cut than the others, quick drying, keep the goods in place. little snugger than the others (they are supposed to be, and it isnt much), but plenty of stretch for lil buddy.

These things are great. I have spent several days in them at a time and they have always performed well. They dry really fast and they do a great job at wicking moisture away from your skin. They are also much more comfortable than boxers or traditional cotton underwear. Do not go without these!!

David W at Backcountry.com on 06/30/2009

They do what they are supposed to do - fairly snug, breathe OK, and wash up easily, dry quickly. I use these for workouts on the road - one each day. Better than boxers for workouts, but same principle (wash and wear).

Very comfortable

I have other Ex Officio products and I trust that this will live up to the quality and comfort level I've come to expect. These feel great. I like the support they give and the height is perfect for me.

Negative Reviews:

not so comfy

These underwear would make Speedos feel like boxers. The front of the briefs have no built in storage space for the things that men need to have supported. Rather than cup and support, these compressed and spread. Not a good thing when climbing or biking or hiking or... The fabric works very well, but the design of these briefs is more like a device from the Spanish Inquisition.

The fit is fine and they dry fairly quickly but any moisture from sweat is felt against the skin, feeling clammy and gross. Less than 12 hours of wear and they started to smell bad, too. Maybe I am spoiled by various brands of merino underwear but I can't recommend these. Glad I only ordered one pair.
