Excalibur Matrix 380 Lsp Crossbow With Tact-Zone Scope Reviews:

matrix 380

the matrix is my 3rd crossbow in two years. I started with the excalibur axiom and really liked it but as my RA got worse it became to heavy and cumbersome. then in a moment of weak mindness I tried another brand which was lighter and narrower but it was a wheel bow. after some problems I saw the light and after serious discussions with the money lady of the house I purchased the matrix 380. my first words after the first few shot were WOWZERS MAMA!! this will be my crossbow for life. a very noticeable difference in weight and width from my axiom. greatly reduced noise level also. the balance is quite nice and the safety edges to protect fingers is very nice. I decided to shoot 2219 aluminum arrows and the matrix really throws them out there. within 6 shots I was dialed in at 20 yards and had to start shooting individual spots to prevent arrow damage. my first serious shooting session lasted for 48 shots and it was all pure fun. this coming weekend I will be in pursuit of the wiley whitetail with my matrix 380 and I am getting all chicky bumpy just thinking of the success that awaits me. thank you excalibur for the new and improved crossbow and thank you cabela's for being such a great place to do business with.

Excalibur Matrix 380 "Simply The Best"

I owned an Excalibur Equinox and loved it. 2" or less groups at 50 yards and easy to set up and use. We have10 plus hunters in our camp and everyone loved the simplicity and accuracy...BUT...hated the width.I purchased the Matrix 380 and I absolutely love it... its a mini equinox only faster, 6" narrower and with upgraded standard features...WOW! Already one other in camp has purchased the Matrix 380 and he just purchased his other brand two years ago and another 2 are seriously considering purchasing one.... I highly recommend this crossbow.

great crossbow

After comparing several brands i went with the matrix 380. the tac zone scope had afaulty reastat swith after getting it quickly replaced from excalibur. I was able to sight in very easy the groups are very impresive even out to 60yds. So far this season i have fired it three times in the field which produced 2 deer and a coyote. very happy If you purchase i recomend buying the stringer aid as the string did stretch quite abit at first. Happy hunting.

Matrix 380

I upgraded form the Excalibur Equinox to the Matrix 380 because it is shorter and narrower . I loved the Equinox but I'm Happy Happy Happy I upgraded, the Matrix is easier to carry around and use in a climbing stand. I have no problem pulling it back at 59 yrs old and no problems with the 18" dioplo bolts like I read on other reviews .Only hunting a week and got 2 deer with the same bolt..
