A Bit Heavy, Worth the weight

| I love it, The pad is a little heavy, mine comes out to about 2.3lbs packed up, Worth carrying if you like to be comfy when you sleep. The Bag/Pump thing always has older hikers coming up to me with the old "when I was your age we didn't have fancy contraptions like that" My first pad popped one night when I slept out near the fire, I guess an ember hit it but I was pretty far away so I don't know how reliable these would be on an extended trip. BUT as expected, REI replaced it for me and even upgraded me to the DLX edition which is 6 inches bigger than the other one :) Anyway, Im very satisfied with this purchase and would definitely have to tell you guys to buy it | |

| I love it. I am finally warm enough and comfortable. I didn't know that I could be so comfortable while backpacking. I like a comfy backpack and sleeping pad. I try to save weight in other places, but I think the extra ounces of sleeping pad are well worth the weight because they make the trip so much happier. My husband is going to get one soon because fall backpacking is coming quickly. | |

Outstanding Pad | |

| Used this pad for the first time in the Boundary Waters in summer of 09. This is the most comfortable pad I have ever used - slept great every night. No more sore back or hips. It's comfortable whether sleeping on back, stomach or side. A word of caution - however - it's a big pad. Two of these pads took up the majority of floor space in a 3-person tent. | |

| this is a great design. the pump is genius in design and doesn't take long to inflate. this pad has one of the highest p ratings i've ever seen and is great for cold weather or if your girlfriend sleeps cold as does mine. e[...] the only downside, if you could call it that, is the weight. but this is standard for cold weather applications. | |

Worth Carrying Every Ounce!!

| I've used many different pads over the years and I have to say that this one beats all! I used to always wake with a headache when camping, due to a lack of comfort - I'm now sure. Sleeping on this pad was an absolute dream. I can't imagine improving on it. It was worth the load. | |

Leaking down is no fun | |

| Used for 6 months, great in the cold, but upon rolling up last weekend, down is being expelled from both valves. One got so full, air wouldn't escape after 1/2 rolled up. I am sure it will be replaced, but on a multiday trip, this stinks! Sure is warm though! | |
