When going light can make all the difference, the Exped Wallcreeper 30 Degree Sleeping Bag is one item you'll want to throw in your pack. This multi-purpose sleeping bag is the ultimate chameleon. You can wear it cinched around your waist as a parka, extend it full length for lounging around camp (or quick bivying with your boots on), or zip it open as a comforter/blanket. When it's time to bed down, close everything up for the ultimate ultra-light sleeping bag. Zippered armholes give you convenient out of bag access for melting snow and sorting gear without leaving the comfort of your bag. An Ultralight Texped PA35 ripstop nylon shell, with highly compressible 750-fill goose down insulation, completes this versatile three-season bag design.

The Wallcreeper provides maximum versatility for big wall climbers and alpinists. The ultralight Texped ripstop nylon shell is lightweight and highly compressible for minimal pack shape. 700 Fill goose down insulation provides freezing level warmth. Horizontal and vertical baffles prevent the down from shifting and creating cold spots. Tuck stitch baffle construction protects the stitching from snags in sharp, rocky environments. Zippered arm openings allow you to belay, boil water, or rack gear from the comfort of the Wallcreeper. A draw cord adjustable foot section allows the Wallcreeper to be slept in with boots on or worn as a camp parka with the draw cord tightened around your waist. The full length center zipper allows easy entry and exit and lets the bag open into a blanket big enough for two. Insulated pockets on the exterior of the bag give your fingers refuge during frigid belays. The parka style hood uses elastic draw cords to create a tight seal, trapping warm air on long, late season bivouacs.

Great for expeditions | |

| I got the bag for a trip to aconcagua and used it inside another 15 degree bag. cant say enough about the convinience of the design. while others were cold in the morning i was warm and comfy making my breakfast enjoying almost no heat loss from a nice night sleep. the bag is very big, check the spefications first. its also meant to be used with a down jacket i think so there is plenty of room if you are a big camper. the construction and material are very tough and of superior quality. higly recommend if you are looking for a innovative design or if you camp a lot in the winter or high altitude. | |

Favorite bag | |

| This is the most versatile bag I've ever owned! The materials and construction are excellent. I'm a rotund (2X), elderly lady and the large bag fits me. I'm an active sleeper and this bag rolls with me instead of getting twisted up. I love being able to wear it around camp on chilly nights (rarely carry a down jacket anymore) and the ability to open it up as a quilt on warmer nights. It is wonderful to not have to take off the upper portion of the bag to make midnight nature calls (it is a bit trickier for us girls, but doable) | |

Perfect Hammock Sleeping Bag
| Rating: | ![]() |
| Agree with Rick. I have a Hennessey Hammock (you enter through the bottom). Regular sleeping bag was PITA to try and get situated under you. This bag is perfect for just lying back and the bag is there for you. The armholes are great for reading before conking out for a peaceful sleep. This is more like a 55 degree bag in a hammock because of the airflow undernearth. | |

Fabulously Designed | |

| I bought this bag because I tend to get claustrophobic in traditional bags. The Wallcreeper is Super soft and cozy, like being wrapped in a cloud. The functionality of this bag is fabulous. The ability to retain warmth through various activities and the options of venting make this bag a must. | |

| It's a cold cruel world or so I thought when I used to venture out of my old sleeping bag for a shivering midnight pee. Now that I have the the Wallcreeper when nature calls in the cold dead of night, relief is quicker, warmmer and there is much less shrinkage. | |

Wallcreeper-Down or Synthetic?
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I have both in the Wallcreeper bags and and the answer is always the same. You can't beat the light weight and feel of down but the caveat of care is also there. Synthetics can handle more abuse and damp climates better. The 700c.i. fill down is a bonus. | |

Best bag I've ever owned

| The temperature rating may be a little but the versatility of this bag more that makes up for it. Great for getting up in the middle of the night to retie the raft, check on the noises from the kitchen tent or to stargaze. | |
