While commuting by bicycle requires adequate lighting, you don't need the same output or bells and whistles that a 24-hour racer demands. That's where the Sirius Mk1 falls in Exposure's line up -- a powerful, simple to operate, and lightweight light for getting you across town safely.
Like other Exposure designs, the Sirius uses a Cable Free Design. It houses the 2600 Lithium ion battery within the light itself. This keeps storing the light in your pack a tangle-free affair and prevents snagged cables when installed on the bike. The body is CNC'd from aerospace grade aluminum for durability and, more importantly, efficient heat transfer from the Cree XPG R5 LED bulb.
This ensures an extremely long bulb and battery life. The Sirius also uses Exposure's Smart Port Technology Plus. Essentially, it's a cylindrical plug on the back of the lamp unit that allows you to insert the smart charger. But, it also enables you to plug in accessories like a red LED taillight and back-up batteries, or to even charge other USB-powered devices. It will automatically recognize each accessory and configure the system to take a charge or power accessory lights. Best of all, a remote switch is available for quick light control
The Exposure Sirius has four modes, high, medium, low, and flash. They're accessible through the power button on the back of the light. The simple bracket uses an elastic band to attach to 31.8 and 24.5mm handlebars for quick and easy installation and removal.
