Falcon Guides Coastal Inshore Casting Rods Reviews:

Dual role baitcaster

I learned how to fish with a baitcaster when I was a boy. By my early teens, I had upgraded to spinning gear. I did not think that I would ever go back to baitcasters. Many years later, after using a friends baitcaster on a Musky trip, I decided to get one of the new rigs. After much research I determined that the Falcon Coastal LT Inshore would suit me very well. I use it for Redfish and Trout in the Laguna Madre in the fall and winter; Pike & Bass in Minnesota in the spring and summer. Truly an all around rod!

Sorry Saltwater Guys

I fish for Smallmouth Bass in the local rivers part of the time and have looked for light action casting gear for years. The inshore rods are fantastic! My regular falcon rods stay in the boat for largemouth and the inshore in the Yak for river fishing. Love the weight and handling of these rods, wish I'd had them years ago.

great rod

I just used this rod for a week of trout / redfish fishing and really enjoyed it. It is limber and didn't make me suffer for the thousands of casts I made and yet has plenty of backbone for flinging top waters and muscling redfish around. Great Rod.

Marketed as an inshore rod, but great for casting cranks and topwater for bass. 7'6 Medium is great choice - long casting and sensitive
