Great Boots

I recently bought a pair myself and for my wife. We both love them! We live in Florida and worry about water moccasins, rattlesnakes and more. These worries have left our mind allowing us the opportunity to concentrate on the game. We honestly like them so much that her dad went and bought a pair this week. ALSO is a very quiet boot. I was shocked at how much it reduced the sounds of our footsteps. My last boots sounded like an army on the march.

Comfortable

Very comfortable for long treks to hunting spot. Feet stayed dry all day in Florida heat and through the water.
Remember to get up early as you need time to lace them up. I would have preferred a side zipper, but then again lacing provides more adjustment for fit.

Great boots!

My husband was a little skeptical about the comfort when he first saw the boots but he was very pleased when he tried them on. They were much lighter than anticipated and quite easy to move around in. He is very very happy with the boots!

Product Update

I went into my second season using these boots. As season progressed things went downhill. I waterproof sprayed before season. The left boot started to leak as the season progressed. Also the liner has now worn through and the boots squeek when I walk. I had hoped to get more than one season out of these. I have now purchased another pair of boots and will regretfully retire these early unless using in a tree stand in dry areas.

Leak and now stink

Like others who have commented, these boots leak. Part of the reason I bought them was because the tag said waterproof! Once they got wet I can not get rid of the musty smell. Have tried every thing. Hate it because I like the boots otherwise. If you are going in water treat them. I now have snake leggings, 1/4 the price, work great.

Leaked like a sieve

I hunt Deer, Ducks and Geese in the deep woods and swamps.

Not Waterproof. lacing up is a pain

Bought these mainly to prevent snake bites. Thats about all they do. They Say in the decription that they are water proof. They are NOT water proof. They are not defective. The Dicks people said you cant wade in water at all. So you cant walk through 3" deep water and expect not to get wet. These are good for Snake boot wear and thats about it. The laces are a pain so I took em back and got the Zip up ones and they leak too.

Not used enough to know if it will hold

This is a very fine boot. It is easy to lace up, very comfortable and it has been very warm sitting in the cold.
