Good Safe
Safe looks and works great for price. After watching the 4 gentlemen load my vehicle, stopped by a hardware store on way home and picked up a dolly. Still cheaper than shipping. My wife and I had no problems getting it unloaded and put in my house without a scratch. Holds all my guns and ammo. Waterproof only to 2ft had a concern so we put our important documents in a smaller waterproof safe in the safe. Makes them more secure and easier to grab and go if needed. The safe is strong and sturdy. Shelving was good as also. I am sure there are more sturdy safes, but I believe this one will suffice to protect my valuables and guns. Outstanding customer support from the associates at Dick's Sporting Goods as well.
Great Buy
I went to look at the Elite 24 gun safe that Dick's had on sale for [$]. I really was not impressed, and much to my luck they were out of stock. They said that they would sell me the Pro Series 32 gun for the same price. I really could not pass this up. I got it home and set it up, plenty of room for my long guns and several shelves for my pistols. Quality is right up there with the more expensive safes. I can not find a negative thing to say, it is way more safe than the price I paid. Great buy !!!!!
This is exactly what I was looking for!
After doing the leg work both online and in store at [@], [@], [@], and finally Dick's I purchased this safe. It was in stock and the sales associate was awesome. It weights a ton and just fits a standard door (after removing the door and hinges). This would be a chore for anybody to steal, make sure you have an appliance dolly and several big guys and you'll be set. The combo is a strong set up and locks are secure, you will not regret this purchase!
Nice Safe!
It's just too nice and big for the money.I picked it up at the store in my truck, had a few of my buddies help me get it on the ground to unpack it. Not a single scratch on it! For the money, you can't beat this safe. It says 16 guns on each side, but they all stretch the capacity in writing. I can get 12 rifles and shotguns, mostly scoped, on one side with none touching each other. Highly recommended!
Good Product for the Price.
I have to say that overall the product is a very good buy and is worth the purchase. The only negative that I have found is the brackets for the shelving do not line up very well. I had to shim the hangers for the shelves to be level. Other than that, I am completely satisfied and happy that I purchased this particular unit.

I just bought this item yesterday and installed in my home. This is a great product for the price. Has enough storage for my weapons and has ample room for misc items as well!

Excellent value
The door comes off which makes delivery and set up much easier. The guys at Dicks were really helpful. I'm pleased, it has features of much more expensive safes at a much lower price. I purchased it just prior to Christmas and the $200 off retail made this safe an excellent value.

What can i say. For the money its great. Not the best safe out there but for [$] bucks what can you expect. Looks great, Shelves are nice. Feels well built. And its fire rated.

Delivery problems
Ordered the safe three weeks ago 9/7. Billing for safe and delivery has already shown up on credit card. First try from delivery company - order stated after 5 delivery(work you know)they called at noon stating "they would be back at the shop by 5" and could not deliver. Second try - truck broke down and did not deliver that day. Third try delivered without equipment or manpower to deliver to basement location (stairs required stated was printed on invoice with delivered safe also part of "premium" higher cost delivery option)delivery company could only drop off in garage. On Saturday 9/24 delivery crew told me that the delivery company will call you ASAP. This was four days ago have not heard from delivery company, (I did leave a phone message on voice mail on Tuesday 9/27 asking for an update). Still can't park in garage have no idea when the $300 dollar "premium" delivery setup is to occur. Might be nice safe but not sure its still in box in garage....
Dissatisfied
I purchased the 24 gun Field and Stream safe (no longer exists), and is the same/similar to this one. I had high aspirations and it was recommended by the sales associate at Dicks as perfect for us (fire and waterproof) We bought it on his recommendation. It fit perfectly in my basement and made us feel secure with the documents/firearms.....until we needed it most.
We had a serious flood and the safe was submerged. Only to find out that the contents are only covered up to 2 feet of water. (It's the fine print, but not told by the associate). Stack-on (manufacturers) were great and would replace the safe, but not contents. I am happy with them, but not the design. It is NOT waterproof and would NOT recomment for a basement. I will be choosing a better location. Great safe, but not for basements!!

Should look harder
I bought this safe only to find out it is nothing more than fire protection for my guns. I was told that the lock could be changed and that this safe was best for the money. Only to find out a large hammer could be used to open it. The locksmith told me that they consider this to be a gun cabinet. It could keep the guns away from my kids until they would be old enough to use a hammer. Needless to say I'm going to go get my money back. I would much rather pay the extra 300-400 bucks and get a safe that is just that a safe.
Missing Manual Lock Rubber Cover Grommet
I purchased a Field & Stream Pro Series with a manual locking mechanical mechanism. The rubber grommet that cover the dial was missing. I have been trying to get a replacement for some time now. Every time I go to Dick's they tell me to get with the manufacturer. When I attempt to contact the manufacturer I get no response. This has become quite frustrating. It seems Dick's is only interested in getting their product out the door and not interested in assisting customers with a problem. As far as I am concerned their customer service sucks.
