There must be a better choice

| First off, I don't like total negative reviews but this is one purchase that has really soured my opinion on store brands. I bought this bag for my son to use on Boy Scout trips. I hope that this bag is not indicative of the quality of the entire F&S line but the seams on the top of the bag split from head to toe. It don't believe it was mistreated because I camp with him and have always taught him to take care of his gear. Needless to say, I am disappointed with the bag not lasting even through about 3 campouts before self destructing... I love lightweight bags as liners in wintertime, too, but this was not a good purchase. I'll stick to a brand name next time... | |

Absolutely Worthless | |

| I bought this bag for a backpacking trip out west and with a 1 lb weight and decent price, I thought I had found a great deal. Luckily, I checked it out before my trip. I'm 6'1" and couldn't fit in it. The top part of the bag didn't even cover my shoulder. The box and the tags say it is 86 inches long but when I measured it, it was only 76 inches long. When I returned it at the store, one of the managers and I opened another box and we found the same thing. It makes no sense. I exchanged it and bought a more expensive Marmot bag they had. Don't waste your money. | |

Too small and Stuff Sack is Terrible
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I am 5'10" with an athletic build and I could barely fit inside this thing, it was way too small for me and I'm not the biggest guy. The compression sack is useless once you take it out the first time its virtually impossible to get it back in and i actually ripped it trying to stuff it back in there due to its poor manufacturing quality and design and its simply too small for the sleeping bag to fit back in without vacuum sealing it. I'm very glad I opened it and tried it before I took it out to the wilderness because I literally would not have been a happy camper with this product. | |

HORRIBLE BAG! | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I took this bag with me on a 1 month cycling trip around Tasmania and hated every minute of it. Its tapered strangely towards the feet, the seams rip WIDE OPEN, and its breezy inside. An example of poor craftsmanship: the velcrow that holds the hood down is stronger than the stitching- I tore the velcrow free from the bag b/c it ripped off. I had to re-stitch about 80% of the bag on the road. And it should be rated for something closer to 55degrees. | |

180 degrees--turn and walk away from it!

| Sent my son to camp for two weeks with his brand new cool looking mummy bag. It lasted one night before self destructing. He came home with more hockey tape on the bag than material. They sleep on mattresses on bunk beds in a cabin, thank goodness they weren't acturally camping. 40 degrees--maybe celcius but not farenheit! He would have froze. Hope they replace it/let me upgrade to a real bag! | |

You get what you pay for | |

| The compression bag ripped the first time I used the sleeping bag. Returned it no problem for a second one; the first night I used the second one and cinched the hood the entire seam ripped. I still use the bag but anyone shopping should pay the extra 20 dollars to get a better made product. | |

DON'T BOTHER!!!! | |

| We have over the years bought many outdoor gear products from various suppliers, retailers and manufacturers, and can proclaim that we have never bought a more worthless item than this sleeping bag. Hopefully it has been either discontinued or the problem with the seam has been corrected. Our advice, DO NOT BUY!!!!! | |

| I bought 2 bags for a Trip to Philmont. In 1 case the bag ripped along the seam in 2 days. The other bag it took 7 days before the bag riped along the seam. The best use for these bags was to carry out trash! | |

poor quality bag | |

| Bag is too small for an adult, I couldn't get it past my chest. I gave it to my son and within three uses the seams started coming apart. Very poorly made bag. Would not recommend it to anyone. | |

| Had this for one week of boy scout camp. Seams blew out in over ten places - the polyester insulation was going everywhere. Had to use duct tape on the bag to complete the week. | |
