Positive Reviews:

great device

I bought this one because it was not expensive just in case i was disappointed with it so it wasn't a waste of money. To my surprise it is actually a great device. It works great indoors and i have used it outside a little as well and clearly read signs. It runs off of two AA batteries as well, instead of CR123 which is a plus for me. The only downside to this device is the cherry red glow given off by the IR led, which wont be a problem from a distance.

Nice Detail

This night vision monocular 5X scope focuses very easily and the detail is excellent. Worked good in minus 17 Fahrenheit temperatures. View looks more black and white than green. Easy to hold steady with the large 50mm objective lens. Takes two AA batteries. Made in Russia.

Negative Reviews:

Waste of time and money

I have other generation 1 night vision which is very good. Maybe I just got a bad specimen here but the picture quality was extremely bad. Not good enough for any application.
