2013 Fischer Hybrid 9.0 Ski Review

What's going on? Jeff here. Just got off the new Hybrid series from Fischer This happens to be the 9.0 so that's their 95 underfoot all mountain go fast ski. I mean I'm not going to suggest this for doing any back country. Maybe a slight amount of tree but this verticle sidewall makes it very very nimble. Super fast, you can put it on and go. It's got this fancy new technology in it the Hybrid technology. You can go anywhere in one day one run from a cambered to a rockered ski flip the switch up, flex the ski and now you've got a tip rockered Fischer. You can smash on all day.

2013 Fischer Hybrid 9.0 Ski Review

I'm Adam and I was just skiing on the Fischer Hybrid 9.0. Realyl liked this ski. It's powerful. It's quick edge to edge. Has two personalities so you can change it from a tip rockered ski to a tradionally cambered ski. It's a little stiff for super deep, super soft pow but cruddy conditions or good hardpack ski if you like a little bit wider GS style turing hardpack ski. 5 out of 5.

2013 Fischer Hybrid 9.0 Ski Review

Hi I'm Brad. I just got off the Fischer Hybrid 9.0. Same thing with the big brother the 10.0. I give this ski 2 out of 5 stars. It didn't really do anything for me. It was too heavy. It doesn't engage well. It doesn't have any pop from side to side. I didn't really find it to be a very good ride. It's really for someone who's a little bit bigger and a little bit burly than me. Skis a lot of front side yet it's got the switch to change from camber to reverse camber. It did make the ski, ski a little bit different. I didn't perticularly think it skied well in either postions. So again a 2 out of 5. Definitely think there are better skis out there.

2013 Fischer Hybrid 9.0 Ski Review

Hi Trey with Fischers Hybrid 9.0. I'm going to give this ski 3 out of 5 stars. This is their new Hybrid technolgy where you can take it from being a full cambered ski to a rockered ski in the tip. In the full camber it's solid stable ski underfoot. It's pretty heavy so on frozen snow cruddy it's real powerful you get right through it but it's kind of hard, even in rockered mode, to get it to transitions between the turns with any kind of energy or any kind of fun to be honest with you. So just 3 out of 5 stars for me.

2013 Fischer Hybrid 9.0 Ski Review

Thom here with the Fischer Hybrid 9.0. I'm going to give this a 3 out of 5. It had some good quickness through the turn, but the engagment wasn't solid. It wasn't precise. For a ski that is this wide with this type of construction I'm looking for positive engagement. Quickness in to the turn which it kind of lacked a little bit. You flip it over into the rocker vs. the camber mode and it responds a little easier but no faster. Stable smooth, it's great for that guy whos looking for a wider relaxed ski with a lot of stability.
