The RCR VASA uses skatecut technology for excellent balance, push-off and stability while skating. This is a great race ready ski!
All new in 2008, the Fischer RCR Skating Vasa features top racing technologies including AirCore contruction, ultimate ski matching with CFC, and an improved Pre-waxing process. Universal WC Pro base for all snow conditions. The RCR Skating Vasa is an excellent value for intermediate to advanced racers.
The WC sidecut (41-44-44) can be found on the RCR Vasa providing optimum stability throughout the entire kick. The Speed Tip and Tail reduce swing weight while making the ski very light underfoot. The race finish base comes out of the box ready for the track.

Marmot Mountain

The RCR falls between the RCS and the SCS in price, performance, and weight. It has most of the attributes of the RCS but costs substantially less. Using the same 610 World Cup construction and shape, there is a little less graphite in the base, making it a more universal base. Three ounces a pair heavier than an RCS, it has 1 mm thicker sidewalls for additional durability, has the Speed Tip, but no Speed Tail, so the swing weight is slightly higher. Like the RCS, it is prewaxed, but the Diamond Tuned Grind (DTG) is a more Universal grind than on the RCS. For $200 less, the RCR is a great value.
