Fitec Quick Throw Cast Mono Net Reviews:

Positive Reviews:

Very Easy to USE!!

I have never thrown a casting net before in my life. I purchased this net, watched the DVD, practiced once on the water, and then went out to catch some bait fish. worked I caught a whole bunch of bait fish and had a lot of fun too. This was easy to use and in no time I had enough bait to fish!!

Negative Reviews:

Choose your weapon carefully!!!!

I first bought this net in the 6' size not realizing you need to be 8' tall to throw it. I then bought the 4' net and it throws well, but doesn't have enough weight to get the net down fast enough in moving water. If you will be using this in a pond or lake this should work ok. If you will be using a net in a river try the 5' net it will work better.

Size matters

I have the same problem many other reviews state, I'm 5'7" and made the mistake of buying a 6' radius. Because you can't 'bunch' up the net like a ringless net, with the use of the ring you will find the weights drag on a dock or bank when you're trying to cast.... If you look at the company video, doesn't seem to be a problem casting the 6', but I assume the gentleman demoing the net is well over 6'.. This should be mentioned by the company, going through the reviews here you will find that is a common complaint.

I used this net on the Jersey Shore and I couldnt even throw it. I had the 6ft net using it for anything that's swam in my way. Over all summer I only caught 1 fish I would reccomand this for someone with good upper body strength unlike me.
