FitFlop Trakk II

I've worn FitFlops in the past, and I'm convinced that they are making them smaller each year. Generally I wear a Women's 12 Wide. If I buy a unisex sandal, I'll go with a Men's 10.5 Wide. The Women's Fitflops run a solid 2 sizes smaller than marked, thus a women's 12 is really a Woman's 10. So I buy the Men's, which, sadly are limited to 1 style in the thong style. The last time I bought Men's fit flops, I took an 11. This time, the only size they had left was Men's 12 so I thought, okay, maybe I would try it. It fit perfectly. So beware when ordering and know that you will likely need 2 full sizes bigger than you normally take. They are very comfortable and fit my wide foot. They are fabulous for heel issues and other than the normal safety concerns of wearing any style of "flip flops", you'll not find one as comfortable as these. They are like walking on marshmallows. Fabulous!

I have a dozen pair of these and can't say enough good things about them. It is a sad event that requires me to wear any other shoes! I can be in these all day on my feet - walked all over Europe in them. They are the only shoes that do not hurt my feet. As for the anonymous reviewer who said that the sizes are way off -- that is not true. Perhaps (s)he is mistaking the sizes with European sizing? Don't know but my size 8 always fit. In fact, if you are a half size, I recommend going down - not up. I am an 8 1/2 and I get an 8 in Fit Flops (thong type). I haven't had good luck with their enclosed shoe in terms of sizing.

I bought these as a gift for my boyfriend who has lots of foot issues and almost no shoes were comfortable for long...but these have made such a difference for him! He loves them...great idea!

Would normally wear an 9; had to order an 11. Looks really good. Arch support is a little bit more than moderate; it's good.

Very nice fitting sandal with better than average arch support. The adjustable strap is extremely comfortable. Looks pretty cool too.
