Great Equipment

I bought this product to help me become stronger and change my look from skinny young guy to skinny and athletic guy.
So far I must say I am getting the results I wanted I feel stronger and I can do a lot more handy work thanks to my increased strength. I work out several different parts of my body with them on alternating days for best results.
Since they are adjustable, they take up less space and they are easier to carry around (traveling long and short distances). Also, I can increase the weight while not having to switch to another set of weights.
I really enjoy my product and will continue to for years to come.

Don't forsee any problems...

These will fit up to 60lbs on each dumbbell if you use 10lbs weights. I suppose you could use 25lb weights with 1inch holes but I think the weights would be too big and make it hard to use full range of motion in most common exercises. Anyway fitting 60lbs on each dumbbell is very good for the price. I think it would cost 170 dollars total to go that route. They seem to be made well. They need to be tightened every 2 or 3 sets but who cares.

Great starting weight set

Received this as a Father's day gift. I started a strength training and exercise program one year ago administered through our university by physical therapists. When the grant that funded the program ended, we were given a home exercise workout plan. I use the weights in it. I like the rubberized grip, easily convertible weights and that I can add separately available weights as my strength improves.

Nice Dumbbell Set

Nice dumbbell set. However it arrived in a poorly constructed box that when picked up fell apart. Barely able to keep the weights from falling out. Not sure its what we want though. However that should not reflect on the dumbbell set itself. We may return for something simpler. Not sure yet.

Good! Just what you Expected

These are just dumbells. Nothing special. The price was good, they come with a decent amount of weight and the collars stay locked down like they are supposed to. If you need a good basic dumbell that does just what you expect, these are for you.

Adequate for the cost

I have had these for about 2 years now.
Cons: 1) They use a rubber ring inside the collars to supposedly grip the plates and lock into place. But they don't grip very long. I am constantly tightening them. They loosen even while lifting, causing the plates to clank. 2) Changing weights is slow so its best to use the same weight for everything. I just increase weight every few weeks.
Pros: 1) Simplicity 2) cost and 3) ability to buy additional weight. I bought four 10 lb plates to double the capacity.
Bottom line: I'm looking for something else where changing weights is faster and that have a higher capacity. These have served me well for 2 years. Time to upgrade.

Careful

One collar was too loose to screw onto the bar and hold the weights. If the collars all fit then it is a good product.
