Pretty Good!

Rating:****
I use this product every day for warming up and running, usually 1.5 miles a day. It is a little noisy with the basic noises that you would expect, but there are also noises that you wouldn't expect like squeaking. I think for the price it is a pretty good deal, haven't had any major problems with it yet, had it about 5 months now.

very good, good for your knee

Rating:*****
as good as it gets for this price... of course not a gym-quality material but good for personal use for ordinary health conscious people

garbage

Well what i want to say first off... should have listened to the guy in the store... he told me come home read user reviews before i bought this, i did not listen. I just figured he was working on commishion and wanted me to buy a more expensive one and could pursuade me to do so by letting me know about the not so kind reviews. Well i didnt listen, I went and bought it anyway, got it home put it togther, and well lets just say after it was together I realized, junk. I used it mabye 3 times, the belt started to seperate, it got stuck on 5 degree incline, and it wont change from 2mph, what a awsome treadmill! Seriously though, it is now a dust collector, the warranty is terrible, who even makes this? As far as I know, Joe Shmoe, and his brother make this out of a garage, its only at dicks, that is it, great exclusive product! So Ive had this 4 months now, [...]. So any of you reading this want a 5 degree 2mph treadmill that is covered in dust? If you said yes, you need help! What a piece of junk, Do Not Buy this product, spend a little more and get a real treadmill, listen to me you will be happy!

Flimsy treadmill

Rating:**
When we first bought this treadmill it didn't work, wouldn't even turn on! Returned it for another one and that one worked but you could tell it was very cheap and flimsy. I do use it heavily but I only weigh 140 and I can feel the platform literally bend with my weight. My husband used it too but stopped after pieces broke off of it. He only weighs 175. Last night the belt ripped in half. Getting a new belt because it's cheaper than buying a new treadmill. This is a low end treadmill and as the saying goes,"You get what you pay for!" Save your money and buy something better if you plan on using the treadmill regularly. Also has problems with the speed. Told me I was running at 10 mph but I really wasn't. Also when I use it for walking I cannot get the speed to go below 3.7. Very disappointed. I've had it for a year now but I really can't afford to buy a new high end one.

This machine is a piece of junk. I assembled this w/the help of my father, and within 20 minutes of completion, the machine started to malfunction. I kept getting an error message on the screen, and the belt would abruptly stop and shut off. I checked the manual & the error message was not in the troubleshooting section. Machine intermittently shuts off, for NO reason. Called the manufacturer who sent out a replacement part w/the phone number of a technician who will NOT return my phone calls. So I'm stuck with a useless treadmill and a useless replacement part. [...]

However three days later I get an email saying well sorry I guess you're going to have to return this to the sporting good store!! WHAT!! Are you kidding?? Horrible customer service!! Horrible treadmill!!

Horrible!

Rating:*
Horrible! I've had this machine since July 2007 and the belt was separating! Complained to the company, they sent me another machine, which was working for awhile until recently where I was interval training and it stopped on 5.0 and turned back on, throwing me off the machine! Very unsafe and I am honestly very disappointed.

Have called in four complaints within two months. Might be a good product if we can get all the bugs worked out.

Not bad for the price

Rating:***
This treadmill is not perfect, but it is not bad for the price. Ok, so I knew that I was buying a low end treadmill. If you are looking for high quality then you are going to have to spend more. However, if you are on a tight budget and need something that will get the job done this will do the trick. After reading the other reviews I hope that I don't have the belt problems others have had. (although I suspect that I don't work my treadmill as hard as some) I have had this treadmill for 6 months and used it 2-3 times a week at first and have increased that use to every day. I see no wear and tear so far. There is a glitch in the controls though which other people have commented on as well. When controlling the speed manually, you can speed up but not slow down. Even if you decrease the speed all the way, the treadmill will stay at the top speed that you used. This is a minor problem for me as I use the hill walk and keep my speed consistent. Someday when I have the need for a harder workout (and when the budget allows) I will upgrade, but for now this treadmill gets the job done.
